Pve is fine. Pvp is not competitive in its current state. I have yet to see a scout rifle be used in pvp.

My scout rifle has MvP written all over it. XD
-
PvP is pure garbage in its current state.

I used a scout rifle for a while, but sadly auto rifles win matches. Lower Green nano for the love of God. Shotty's are supposed to be close up insta kills, it makes sense, them carrying 20+ shells however breaks the game a bit. Also Fusion Rifle Frenzy would slow as well with less green Nano, don't nerf the guns, just regulate the usage, because as of right now, I feel like primary weapons are secondary weapons with the way it is now.

I tried using a Scout Rifle initially, in order get that BR feel, but it seemed very underpowered in PvP so I stopped. However, this was like the first Scout rifle I used, and with my experience with Auto Rifles, the guns get much better at higher levels (stability and accuracy wise). I guess I'll have to try them out again.

That's all my warlock friend uses.....3-shots done.
-
In fact i felt scout rifle was OP. 4-5 headshots and people are dead.
-
Halo 2, yes I know...bringing out Halo comparison to Destiny...start the flaming, had a flawless system when it came to the BR. It was deemed one of the best made multiplayer weapons in terms of visual, usage, and balance in almost any shooter. It was a 4(? maybe 3, its been a while) headshot kill. The pulse rifle is it's reincarnation. Then Halo 3 came out, and introduced the DMR. It was not deemed as good as the BR, but it was well balanced as well requiring 5 headshots to kill. The Scout Rifle is it's reincarnate. I do not believe 4-5 scout shots are OP. I've killed 3 people with a single clip from an AR, just aim for the head, that's OP. I think the pulse and scout are pretty well balanced in this game. 4-5 shots with about .5 seconds in between, and aligning up with the head is perfect. Fusion Rifle single shot to the knee kills are not.

Halo reach introduced the DMR.
-
Was it reach? Either way, it wasn't as good as the BR, but still a good weapon. As said, I quit Halo at Reach, It lost it's flair. The book was so good, I wish they would've used that story versus the spartan-III's that didn't exist yet.
-
I consider reach as alternate dimension, but I like the game :l
-
To each their own. I just imagine how amazing the game could have been if they did the "Fall of Reach" version.
-
Yup, playing as master chief on the space station, and/or the ground Spartans defending the generator, invading the covenant carrier, fighting to CASTLE base. That would have been fun. (But I still want Jorge)
-
Jorge wasn't in the book, however, he was in the game. That makes him canon, which if there were to do the book style reach, they could've still put him in it.
-
They didn't name all the Spartans in the book, so he could fit.
-
exactly, there were near 300 of them that survived the surgery correct?
-
I think it was 150, I haven't read Fall of Reach in a while.
-
Still, there were like 20ish Spartan's that were given names and backgrounds, alot were just placeholders.
-
All this to make Jorge fit....
-
Their plan all along. Buy Halo back from microsoft with Destiny's income, remake Reach, Jorge is new master chief. Run's for president 2016!
-
Would be better than what we currently have for cannidates .
-
I do fine with my scout rifle o.o
-
I do well frequently with my MIDA Multi tool, exotic scout rifle
-
Dang that rifle is boss
-
I was so stoked to see it pop up on my screen
-
I agree, A guy in my game did nothing but use the Fusion rifle and he got constant easy kills which gets him a fast super and you couldnt 1v1 the guy due to how fast his fusion rifle charged. As for the scout its really just situational just like the Hand cannon, the PULSE RIFLES HOWEVER I HAVENT SEEN ONE!
