I'm afraid destiny will die
I don't want destiny to die like titanfall I'm scared >~< do u guys think its gonna fail? I'm seeing massive amounts of hate and people just saying its overhyped, it looks like borderlands etc what do u guys think? Will Destiny fail?

you're only seeing so much hate because trolls are the loudest, the good majority is still enjoying the game. it's best to form your own opinion rather than reading all these little kids complaining that it's not like cod or whatever else they're used to playing. the game has been out for 2 days logically you cant judge a game 100% in that time frame.

A lot of people don't understand endgame content and how it all works. Iron banner, raids, heroic story, heroic strikes, ect. There are daylies, weeklies, and events. It seems like a lot of people are treating this game like it's something it's not. A single player story driven game. The story is there and I'm good with it but that's not the point of the game. Story only makes up about 15 to 20% of the content most.

Its like saying... "I dont want World of Warcraft to die like Gothic 4 did". . . it has nothing todo. Titanfall was just an Multiplayer online arena casual Shooter... without any real conntent... they just tryed to make an CoD what is a little bit more fun... and that is it... not more... of course people will leave if they have no Motivation. Destiny is full of Motivation i just hope it last longer... because I don't want destiny to die like Star wars the Old Republic or Age of Conan . . . well people still play it but they had to change the whole eco system.

I don't think you need to worry good sir the ones complaining seem to be upset that it's not cod or some other generic shooter and seem to have lost the point of destiny all together You know the ones that run off in strikes on there own like there playing cod and won't bother recovering others . I personally play this game like a RPG I spend a lot of time exploring and upgrading my character sure I have finished the story but it took me a great deal of time and I don't feel I have barely scratched the surface of this game and I feel that there are a lot of other players that feel the same as me.... So I say long live Destiny!!!

Basically Destiny is all there is for AAA right now. How Destiny holds up when other games arrive around the holidays will be a true test. Though with all the games being pushed to 2015 still not a lot of competition. :-/ It will be around for sometime to come. Question is will it remain as big as it currently is.

15 RespuestasI can not stress this enough.. this is not the full game, so much will be added. Destiny is supposed to have a life span of 10 years.. obviously there going to treat is as a mmo when it comes to content. New things will be added with every patch. If you stop playing for even a month. There a month worth of content you missed out on. it's too early for people to be saying it's going to be a fail or is a fail. How do you know when you haven't actually played all its content. You have played maybe 15% of this game.

read the polls, every single poll out shows destiny is greatly received. look up poll threads, one PVP thread was like 1000 liked 100 didn't like, and the game in general was about the same ratio. I wouldn't worry.

The only reason games become overhyped is because of the community choosing to overhype it. Take the game for what it is and what is expected to come and the fact that the company has announced that they want the game to last for years will tell you that they have a general roadmap. Don't play a game for 24+ hours in two days and say "oh I am out of stuff to do"...because that's your fault. People can't control how fast they play something but then choose to complain when it's all gone. I think the game will be fine and I am still enjoying it plenty
