"use of this application's chat and messaging features is not allowed for your account." ps4 destiny
Hello all,
I preordered Destiny and used the digital preload. Once the clock hit 0, I started playing. It was great. I am now going back to play the game after about 8 hours or so offline, and get the following 2 messages;
"use of user-generated media is not allowed for your account"
"use of this application's chat and messaging features is not allowed for your account."
What does this mean, and how do I fix the issues?

This is happening to me now. After bungie and ps4 updates. Got into destiny earlier but could not connect to party chats. On a related note, ps4 and it's android app have been the most infuriating things I've ever used to send simple messages. I don't understand how something so simple barely works.

Now it's told me I don't have Playstation Plus and asks me if I want to buy it, and also that it cant connect to the PS Network.

It also gave me a message saying "use of user generated media is not allowed on your account" Yesterday it kept kicking me off while I was in a fireteam with a mate, saying I've lost connection to Destiny Servers, my permission to access online multiplayer gameplay may have changed or my profile has been logged in elsewhere. Then it started giving me random error codes, zebras and what not. Then it couldn't contact the destiny servers, then they weren't available. Today this along with the servers aren't available, try again. Does anyone actually know what's going on?

1 RespuestaOne of my buddies is having a similar problem. We can't use in-game chat because of that. I've seen similar complaints on the internet and haven't seen a viable solution yet. Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Just happened to me. Got kicked out of nightfall and now I can't even log back in. Keep getting the same message about "not allowed for this account". UPDATE: Switched PS4 completely off & power cycled modem. Seems to have worked.

I got this last night. I'm guessing it thinks you are running on a restricted account (for a young child for example) I couldn't fix it. I'm hoping it's something on Bungie's end.

Yeah I got the same messages last night along with Baboon and Centipede error codes , I think bungie's system must be freaking out under the strain.
