Xbox One : You must be connected to Xbox Live in order to play Destiny
Hi,
I had this exact same issue when I had the beta and was unable to play it. As soon as I press X on the main screen i get the following message "Attention: You must be connected to Xbox Live in order to play Destiny" I am connected to Xbox live and even ran all the tests, NAT is open. Fair enough its not the fastest (according to Xbox test 3mb down 0.6 up) but I only want to play it on single player.
Can someone please help?

1 RespuestaYou might try signing out of your profile and signing back in while at the title screen, It worked for me.

Always check xbox.com/status too. Right now (2/20/2016 17:37 Eastern), it's experiencing issues.

6 RespuestasIf you actually physically unplug your console it will do a reset of your network settings. That fix worked for me, just be sure your console is off before you kill the power. When you unplug you will hear a little squeek, which is normal. Good luck! SK

2 RespuestasSOLUTION 1. Turn off your console. 2. Wait 30 Seconds. 3. Unplug the power from the back of console. 4. Wait 30 Seconds. 5. Replug, turn on. 6. Profit??? A simple hard boot will not work.

I don't understand how a game that has been out for so long, can have as many issues as Destiny does. I keep getting the message 'You must be connected to Xbox Live in order to play Destiny'. I AM CONNECTED TO XBOX LIVE!!!! So very frustrating!!!

Power cycled Xbox modem and router. Tried the signing out and signing in. Same problem.

1 RespuestaWhat I found is that even though I was signed in and everything worked (well, except for Destiny) I still had to sign out of XBL and then back in. That resolved this problem for me.
