Ok so with earth being earth and Venus being a jungle world I just thought it'd be cool if there was in game weather changes, since the main earth area is old Russia it could snow during winter seasons, trees could change colour during autumn and even have rain storms. This counts towards Venus being a jungle world as well
Edit: its been pointed out that I mixed up static and dynamic, because its actually on the poll it won't let me change it, but I realise my mistakes.

Static means non-changing; dynamic weather system is what you were looking for. And yeah, it'd be a nice touch.
-
Wait... Shouldn't that say dynamic weather system?
-
1 RespuestaI'd rather a dynamic weather system, doesn't static mean unchanging?

Editado por Plague92: 9/6/2014 3:46:32 PMHaving a dynamic weather system would be awesome =) What I want to see personally: Snow storms Thunder storms dust and sand storms

2 RespuestasThat would be a dynamic weather system, not static. Static means it stays the same, dynamic means it changes.
-
Would Be A Great Idea! It would be cool seeing the "Last City" and The "Frontier" drenched in snow. ;)
-
2 RespuestasThere's already day and night cycles. There was in the beta and there will be in the final game. As for rain and other inclement weather, I hope that's something we see also.
-
4 RespuestasI was very surprised there was no weather effects in the Beta tbh, I thought it's next gen game.
-
6 RespuestasI think it is great for earth (old russia), but I don't know if it's possible on other planets. Snow on venus, don't think so.
-
yeah this sounds pretty kool.

Editado por CtrlAltSpam: 9/6/2014 9:23:27 AMThat'd be neat. Season effects.
-
That would be cool. Maybe not on all the planets but at least old Russia.

7 RespuestasCool, as long as we never get Santa hats that'll be worth 20mil in a few years.

Yes, it would be awesome. However, it is extremely unlikely and would actually probably be better without. If they were to put it in, it would take a great deal of time for just putting in some effects, which to me would be a waste of the time they can use to produce new content for us all to enjoy. The reason I say better without, is that it would mean that much more data that would have to go through and that much more strain on the systems. While it could be done, it is safer without. I would rather know I am on a stable play than have some awesome effects which would make my playing that much more enjoyable, but worry about being slowed down by it. So yes, I would love to have it, but no I do not want it.

5 Respuestasweather would be great but it already has day, night cycles
-
I'm glad with the positive feedback I'm getting for this =D
-
2 RespuestasThat is actually a fantastic idea. I was already excited about the day cycles but seasons would be a nice effect.
-
2 RespuestasYou do realize they do have changing weather. In pVp maps on the beta I'd play Venus in rain then another time in sunlight. I'm satisfied with that already

1 RespuestaDynamic weather would be really cool, like rainstorms on earth and sandstorms on mars. Maybe one day itll become standard on modern open world games
