6 reasons why I prefer Fallout over Destiny
1. Lore is a lot better, lore is good in Destiny but nothing in comparison to Fallout
2. Characters are FAR better in Fallout than in destiny.
3. Story is a lot more engaging in Fallout (In the demo I was not at all engaged in the story at any point).
4. The atmosphere in Fallout is better, I just love the constant feeling of danger but in Destiny the atmosphere is just boring even when events happen you're never really truly challenged.
5. You actually feel as if you are actually in danger of losing (I mean be honest we all know the guardians just own and there is barely a threat in my opinion)
6. Mods

2 RespuestasI wouldn't compare these 2 games, I enjoyed fallout loads, the main problems I found with it were it got very tedious and samey(is that a word?) walking around, I would much rather have the ability to make a vehicle rather than fast travelling everywhere, it just pulls you out of the world, imagine mad max style dune buggies etc. plus your comparing an older unrelated game to a beta, makes no sense to me

1 RespuestaSo yah wanna fight do yeh?! They're two completely different games, plus the gunplay is way better in Destiny. Comparing fallout to Destiny is like comparing skyrim to castle crashers. Both marvelous games, but vastly different in gameplay and level design. If you're a bad enough dude like me, you'll know fallout 3/new vegas are inferior to the originals anyway. Mods aren't a valid argument. It's coming to pc, from there is up to people who design mods to add them to Destiny. [spoiler]bring it on fallout/pc peeps![/spoiler]

1 RespuestaYeah check the Full game of Destiny first, Besides Fallout is not Destiny and Destiny is not Fallout, I love both games but when i played Fallout i didn't think of any other game, Same once i get into full game of Destiny i wont think of any other game. And trust me once we get to venus and mars the challenge will get higher when cabals are big they have shields and rocket launchers. Vex are machines, Machines always a pain to deal with since they come in hoards. Fallout was too easy really ..

You have AI, but they still feel empty. GTA 5 was the first game that didn't feel that way. But getting anything done with out getting killed was a hassle. Destiny avoids that in that you can go in with a group. You always have someone to talk to. and tho you don't have to, I will say that going solo in destiny will get you feeling like the world in destiny is empty too.

6 RespuestasDude the game isnt even out yet, why bash on a game that we know less than 5% of the lore, most of the grimoire cards are redacted, we only explored one of 5 worlds (i think 5 maybe 4) destiny is the beggining of a franchise, while fallout 3 is the third installment, of course it's going to have all that, fallout 1 was probably a pile of shit for bethesda to learn its mistakes. It wasnt a demo, it was a beta, not so you could get a sneak peak because your something special, it was to stress test the serves becuase over 4 million people are gonna be playing this game, i dont recall 4 million people playing fallout 3.

Fallout is one of my all-time favorite series (behind Elder Scrolls and possibly Borderlands), but when comparing it to Destiny, I believe that you are comparing apples and oranges.

We saw a fraction of the lore and 90% of characters are other players. You say you weren't engaged, look around at all the others just waiting to resume there guard duty at the tower. The last two of your reasons are similar claiming there was no threatening atmosphere or threat of loss. The enemies in the beta where far superior to those in the alpha(which I was lucky to get into) and I am almost certain they will be ramped up once more.
