Digital Buyers are getting screwed!!!!!!!
I live in the east coast and I pre-orderd Diablo 3 and i noticed on the PSN store that it said it would be available Midnight 8/19 PDT. I did not think much of this since last year on PS3 the digital copy released midnight east coast time. But for some dumb reason Sony is making the game available Midnight west coast time wtf!?!?! As you can see there the Valid period start is 3am i imagine its telling me that because i live in the east coast, and i saw the same damm PDT time in the PSN store for Destiny. WHY what is the point of this????? My friends are getting diablo 3 disc copy from gamestop and they are also getting the disc copy of Destiny at gamestop midnight also so i can't -blam!-ing play with them at the sametime i have to wait 3 hours later and for what!!! Im never buying a game digital ever again WTFFF. If they expect us to get the Digital copy it should be available Midnight east coast. They dont want us to resale our games well they are doing a shitty job with the digital aspect with crap like this..

Amen.. its pretty shitty that I have to wait 4 hours while my friends go buy the hard copy and are playing 3 hours while I've had this game pre-ordered for 2 months. That's -blam!-ed. Never going digital again. And thanks for -blam!-ing over your xbox fans with that Playstation bullshit.

European players aren't getting an 8 hour (Give or take) head start when it's midnight for them. That seems even worse than how the Eastern United States has it. EDIT: I'll just take everyone's word for it, though it hardly seems fair to release it early to the rest of the world. Sony realizes this, thus the reason for the midnight PST.

Look dude. I have a digital pre order. It's set to turn my system on and download. On the seventh. If that turns out to be the eighth because of some time zone differential, well BLAM it. I'm still pre loaded and ready to fire off the SECOND servers go live.

11 RespuestasMaybe if DeeJ was a little better at his job, there wouldn't be so much confusion. How hard can it be to write clear concise sentences, especially if it's meant to be your job to do so. I know he has to be ambiguous about certain parts of the game (eg. Content), but not about key aspects of launch.

4 RespuestasOmg for the last time if u live on the east coast 3 am is 12 am pst even if u get the disc u can't play till 12 am pst so they have a disc to nothing the servers wink go up till 12 am pst even even just needs to chill out every thing for destiny is online there is no offline so everyone starts at the same time

1 RespuestaDigital buyers are always screwed. Convenience is no excuse to give your money away. Its really hard to claim ownership of a digital copy of anything. You can't resell, or loan your games out. that's a big downside for me. Also its the same price. that is the biggest kick in the balls right there. Its hard work getting that game printed and shipped all over. The only thing you need to sell a digital game is the platform. Its like they are making money for next to nothing. Think about it. A fraction of the time, effort, and resources for the exact same price. The new way to fucck you.

Before that it was out in the US on Tuesday, out in the UK a month later. lol Let's face it. Three hours is FRACKIN NOTHING...
