Warlock Armbands... again.
In the August 1st weekly update they made mention to people complaining about the Warlock bonds being so bland and to wait and see when their arms are "bathed in light."
A week later and the pic of the featured Warlock still has the same bond we were presented with in the Beta. Nothing has changed whatsoever, so what was the point of saying anything in the first place, a week ago?

I was a warlock and I saw legendary,rare, and uncommon armbands that all looked crazy awesome. You just have to get to that level to achieve it.

They are lacking compared to other classes at the beginning, but who really cares about how you look in starter gear anyways. When it comes time to show off a high level character, those glowing bonds stand out more than anything a Titan or Hunter can wear. And we have seen the speaker's bonds, but we haven't seen any other legendary/exotic ones that may be even more epic. During the Beta I was all about upgrading the Warlock's look, but the more I think about it, the less I care what it looks like at level 8 so long as at 20 and higher it looks unique. That pic from the update looks awesome so I am not concerned.

Just wait and see what the game has to offer. The whole purpose of this game is finding those rare items and show off with them. One day you will be playing and get an item and find something you never seen before, that's is what is all about. So when your friends says I never seen that one before you'll be like, Yeah it's mine!

I called this when DeeJ said they would be better. I knew he was talking about the speaker bonds, and look, there it is. It's disheartening, to say the least, but what are they gonna change now? They say they're going to make changes, but anyone with common sense knows there isn't enough time for significant changes, especially with them going to gamescom. I'll forever remember what the bond COULD have been, but for now I'll just buck up and play the game.

I've always liked the bond. My reason for playing warlock was the subtle class item. Not to mention the stylish robe, nova bomb, and the flying with no fall damage.

The bond it's self lights up. You can easily see this if you look at the new banner at the top of the app where there's a warlock, titian and hunter looking at the sunset. You've probably looked at it a million times but did you really look. Check out the warlocks arm. Oh and it's gonna get bigger too.

3 RespuestasPeople just need to put their pacifiers back in their mouths and chill out. I plan on playing a hunter and I would love those armbands. Some of the capes make me look like some flamboyant royalty. They have fancy light up helmets and stuff like that to go along with it. In low light conditions, warlocks will be 10x more flashy than the others? Would you rather a hip drape like the Titan? If they all gave them similar options, everyone would be bitching they weren't different enough. Rugged scarf or large glowing orange Phoenix? Hmmm... Phoenix please. Whiners

5 RespuestasDid you look at the same screenshot I did? Because that's nothing like what we were presented with in the beta. Sure it's still a bond, but it's glowing and really stands out compared to the low level gear we saw in the beta. Plus, dat armour.
