There is no reason why an Auto Rifle should be a one shot one kill, shields seem to be pointless regardless of what type of weapons you get hit with. Flaming pistol is way OP and the weapons required to be competitive in these matches are few and far between when trying to farm them. Please keep in mind that I love the game other than the PVP and no it's not because I can't hang but without one shot weapons it's hard to stay competitive. Here's hoping that we get some honest people on here to highlight some of these flaws before the game is released. No fan boys here just real players trying to make the game better for everyone. Thanks Bungie for your hard work thus far.

Editado por l CIII l: 7/25/2014 10:45:19 PMAuto rifles are not 1 shot kills...and for the rest of your post this is a situational game. You get caught with your pants down and you're dead. Mini map is your best friend and headshots are everything. Keep those in mind and domination will become your friend people

My primary weapon is a common scout rifle, and I usually place pretty high. This is both for the iron banner and the crucible. Obviously, though, I tend to do better is the crucible. In my experience, HOW you use the weapon is extremely important. I can be pretty easily overwhelmed in extreme close quarters by an auto rifle, but I have the advantage by range, easily. Talent with the weapon is important: I am terrible with the pulse rifle, but I can typically outperform competing scout rifles.
-
2 RespuestasOh, and here's how to "farm" the best weapons: look up the YT vid on how to get 10,000 glimmer in the Cosmodrome. It works. You can get 1,200-1,500 in just 10 minutes. From spawn you simple drive around on your sparrow going to every possible loot chest spawn location in a large circle. No fighting necessary. Next, spend all your glimmer at the engram guy buying the uncommon engrams repeatedly. Eventually you'll level up your rank by buying from him. Once you get to about rank 3 you'll start getting all the best uncommon weapons and armor. Good luck!

9 RespuestasAuto rifles are super OP. Every time it's machine gun vs auto rifle the auto will win. At least from personal experience.
-
1 RespuestaAuto rifles are not OHKs you must be in the bad side of lag. Supers are fine even the flaming pistol, they just get frustrating. Auto rifles are not OP they are just easy to use and a go to weapon so they are OVER USED making you think they are OP. If everyone was using a scout rifle people would say they are OP.

[This is from my post this morning: The Right Way to Play PvP. Discuss.]This is a matter of opinion. After extensive matches and reading everyone's experiences on the Feedback link, I wanted to point a few things out. Please add your own thoughts. 1. Yes, the vehicles on the moon are OP vs someone who is on foot, but they shouldn't be removed. You have at your disposal your Super, grenades, heavy ammo, or some smart shooting to take them out. If you still don't like em, try driving them yourself more often or just stay inside the facility. 2. So you can't turn on a dime or 360 turn? I've noticed it too. Trust me, I hated it at the start, UNTIL I realized that Bungie would rather you focus on strategy than running and gunning. Once I focused on that I did much better and I adjusted how I stopped to look around. 3. Hate how the radar gives away your position? Yeah, that seemed a little annoying at first. But you can see the enemy too! Rather than lurking around hoping to find someone or being surprised by people who know the map better than you, you'll at least have an opportunity to position yourself, select the best weapon for the environment, and hopefully get excited about having a legitimate duel with someone. 4. Still think the Super's should be removed? No no no. One, they help against vehicles. Two, nothing feels better when you get to use it to clear a room of opponents to keep them from capping a position. It can really help swing the momentum around. Here's a hint: don't hold your Super back! I used to only have 1 Super per match but now I use it at least 3 times a match. And it can be strategic for your teammates by leaving orbs of light so they can use their Supers sooner. 5. "But the Titan's Super can't be aimed" and "it needs crosshairs". Well, it can be aimed...eventually. If you check your Titan's Striker sub class upgrades you'll notice its a future upgrade for when you level up past 8. Crosshairs won't be necessary. Be patient and all will be fine. 6. Still feel that other players' weapons are OP compared to yours? Yup, been there. BUT, after a little research you'll find that the Impact of a weapon plays a larger role in PvP than Attack. You might have a lower level weapon with major Impact that you aren't using yet that can help you! 7. Getting crushed in Iron Banner and don't know why? If you've recently joined the BETA and haven't asked around, realize that Iron Banner takes into account your weapons and gears true numbers and upgrades. Bring your best if you want to last. 8. Bummed you can't talk to anyone? Same here! All we can do now is create a fire team before we enter the Crucible, but make sure you do if you want an extra pair of eyes on the battlefield. Keeping posting to Bungie about adding chat. Until then, keep dancing when you cap your position! So, any thoughts? Agree or disagree?[]

Editado por cruzsali: 7/25/2014 9:34:46 AMI think the main problem is the super-mechanic. In an unbalanced match the better team/players become even better because their super charges faster because of the kills/flag caps- they get more orbs which lead to charged supers and so on. So when you are on the team that gets dominated you constantly get killed by super abilities and you can't do anything about it. It's a bad mechanic, just like the killstreaks in COD. It creates really unbalanced matches and the game isn't fun for noobs or below average players.

3 RespuestasThe weapons are a bit unbalanced, yes, but this is Beta, so it was bound to happen. The auto rifle is a tad too strong at the moment, and the pulse rifles and hand cannons could use a buff. Still, other than that the PvP is relatively balanced considering the little you are playing. The Hunter's Golden Gun is not OP. It's as OP as the supers of the other classes. It arguably takes more skill to use, and you can die really easily both in the wind up and while in usage, and unlike the other classes,, once you activate it, if you die it goes away. The other classes keep their super charge if they die before getting off the shot. Getting 3 kills is not easy. It takes more setup time, because you are very vulnerable during the wind up and the time it takes to aim, something Titans and Warlock's don't really have to worry about. I've played all 3 classes in PvP and the supers are all balanced in my opinion, with pros and cons to each.

Editado por Kuraikoto: 7/24/2014 10:56:15 PMI think the AR and Scout are both pretty good; however, there is some real wonky stuff at the moment. 1. It might be the game just not running well causing lag and other issues. Last night... the UI wouldn't load so I couldn't tell where the command points were on that map, had no tracker, and couldn't see team indicators. It was a bloody joke. Also, I just had one match where a guy was killing with what seemed like one shot with various guns (his primary/secondary/heavy)... he went 30KDR so it apparently wasn't just me. He also took a lot of hits and would just run through it.... I'm hoping that is just lag issues that will be fixed with release or by going next gen. 2. I know they claimed to balance gear out so that your level/rarity won't hinder you in PvP but that seems like a complete load of bs from my end. The number of hits it takes to kill people seems drastically different so when I've joined on a character I've recently created it does take longer to kill people and I seem to drop faster. [That could be lag so it may just be issue number 1.] 3. I hate the pulse riffle... it just seems like an underwhelming middle ground between the scout/AR. That might just be my own preference though.

I have a suggestion... Get good lol I only use a scout rifle and I own everyone lol
-
Lol there's no one shot one kill auto rifle, now that's just ridiculous and I've said this in one thread and I'll say it again the whole damn game is PvP that's what you get when you free roam RPG character gets transferred to multi player...

1 RespuestaEditado por GalaxySpider: 7/25/2014 3:45:52 AMIt's the best arena like experience I had since a long time. PvP is laging, especially here in the EU. Therefore you just got the impression that an an AR killed you in one hit which simply isn't possible. I have experienced the same issue in some matches before. The PvP isn't really a run and gun cauz players can take several hits before they die unlike in COD or BF. Actually thinking first and shooting is the key to win. Since it's a skill based shooter where movement (especially jumping) matters, you can't compare it to the named games before. I get K/Ds over 2 in nearly every match and barely have lost one. Yes, the game needs tweaking. But which game doesn't? Especially during BETA testing. Doesn't mean that the PvP is unblanced as a whole.

5 RespuestasI bet you think hand cannons are overpowered too and I also bet that you absolutely cannot hang.
-
The only real problem i have with the assault rifle is it's range,
-
Cry baby
-
Your whole topic is INVALID, because Auto Rifle is not one shot kill, it's 5-8 shot kill if you're aiming for the head, it's like 20 bullets if you spray a moving body (with the Shin 44 round clip AR anyway) So stop complaining. Bad players BIG CRY
-
One shot auto rifle? You sure a flanker didn't hit your head first with a hand cannon or such?
-
You also have to remember that this is just the Beta and I'm sure Bungie will balance accordingly. Also, have you seen the weapons and gear you can get for participating? I mean, not now, but when the retail rolls out.
-
Editado por CodeJ: 7/24/2014 5:44:32 PMIt is balanced... It depends on where you aim.. If you aim for the head, it is instant kill no matter what gun you're holding. Though I dont even own a Auto Rifle, I use a scout rifle, I am still able to fight on the same as other players. I'm a Hunter, someone says that the supercharge has no AoE? Well, it does, you just have to level up your skills more and you get the overpenetrate AoE supercharge golden gun... Each class is balanced, no matter what you say titan isn't the best. Even though they have similar skills to like a Guardian (mmorpg) its supposed to be like that. I have no problems killing Warlocks or Titans as a Hunter. Sheilds, aren't a problem either, I find like you can avoid stuff and take cover while shield recovers. You shouldn't even be playing like a CoD game or other fps.. This is different in terms of gameplay. You should rush less, play tactical. Hunters are throwing knives, which are really helpful can be used similar range to a grenade which is their advantage.. Your probably just running in expecting that you can kill someone. This game takes skill to play. You can dodge by jumping or sliding... Turrets and vehicles in the moon map, there isn't a issue with that either, since they give you heavy ammo in intervels and just shooting the character will knock them off the bikes or even kill them. Same for turrets, if you aim for them and ignore the turret hitboxes. It doesn't cause an issue. Too much complaining, when you haven't fully learnt the game, there's so much you can do on this alpha / beta of the game.

3 RespuestasI'm seeing a trend here with bad KD and stats directly linked to people who don't like the PVP. So is that the pvp is bad or just the player? I for one love the pvp and cannot get enough.
-
9 RespuestasFirst off I want to say thank you for pointing it out. Second, the main reason besides the shingen c is that the Titan is obviously the best class. Hunters have no armor and die extremely quick yet move and jump the same height as EVERYONE ELSE. Hunters have no advantages, even their super charged compared to the others, while it can give you 3 kills, sucks compared to the arc smash, or the nova bomb. It has no area of effect and requires a certain accuracy, PLUS it's easy to get killed while using it, and it does nothing to vehicles and turrets.
-
8 RespuestasThere are certain features that are unbalanced in PVP, this I can agree with, however golden gun on hunter is no more OP than a warlock's nova bomb or a titan's lunge forward (don't know the name). In fact, if nothing else, golden gun takes a degree of accuracy to actually hit someone, while nova bomb and the titan's skill do not. as long as your relatively near someone, or a group of targets, you will kill them. Not true for golden gun. The auto rifle is indeed OP, namely the Shingen-C. By no means should an auto rifle do the damage of a scout rifle AND have the range that a scout does. This defeats the purpose of having multiple class weapons, i.e. balancing weapons differences. If you want to give an auto rifle range as one of it's special characteristics, fine, go ahead. But please tone down the damage on it. There is a reason everyone, that can get their hands on it, is using that auto rifle and it's not because they think it's pretty.
-
One shot one kill huh? If you want to be taken seriously when you say something is broken, maybe you shouldn't exaggerate...
-
9 RespuestasSeriously, they should just scrap the PvP and start over. It's awful...lol
-
There is nothing wrong with the GG.
