Will Characters Carry Over?
I read somewhere that Bungie is undecided if progress from the beta will carry over to the real game.
Does anyone know if our friends at Bungie have made their mind up?

4 RespuestasBeta characters never transfer over. It's just not a thing that happens, for a variety of reasons.

Personally I think the ambiguous statement made by DeeJ just prior to the Beta starting is just to keep as many players in the Beta for as long as possible (thinking that maybe their efforts will transfer). I doubt anything other than the 26th emblem will actually transfer over...

They have not yet decided. When they do, Deej said they will make an actual announcement about it- you won't have to hear about it from some random person on the forums.

Don't forget in the full game the crucible doesn't unlock tell level 10. I personally don't want my progress to transfer.

3 RespuestasI stand on both sides of the issue like It will be great if progress transferred but it you will have the people who couldn't play much of the beta getting there butts kicked by level 8 users with powerful guns while they have an assault rifle and a shotgun. but I highly doubt that Bungie will let you transfer progress. :(

I forget where but one of the devs said that they still were discussing it. He said it depended on how much changed from the beta to full release I believe
