After 15 years and 3 console cycles Bungie still hasn't managed to up their game on the framerate part. Why the hell did I spend 400 euro's on a Playstation 4 system when games are being released on it running only 30 fps.
This is madness. People should stop bitching abour ps4 or xbone exclusive stuff and DEMAND fixing this issue. Wich is far more important

1 RespuestaIt's going to be ok because I have wonderful news for you: You can skip playing Destiny in September and save up and buy two amazing games perfect for your 60fps gaming needs being released in October. Battlefield : Cops and Robbers part 3 running in full 62 1/2 FPS Call of Duty: Future Kevin Spacey wears a mech suit (I think that's the name) and that's in 13600p and future 69FPS Your eyeballs will blow their minds !!! So have fun, won't see you there. Bye now.

Editado por brandorobot: 7/15/2014 1:51:38 PMYou shouldn't have thought that there was a main focus on competitive gaming with Destiny. The main focus is the open world and story. That's been obvious since the beginning.

Eat a snickers
-
zzzzz this is all a tad over dramatic
-
NOPE UR BAD
-
2 RespuestasI agree destiny is awesome at 30fps but imagine 60? We already know both next gen consoles can handle it I didn't see a single drop though so it was even smoother than infamous.
-
Disaster? A bit overly dramatic there Madame Hyperbole
-
I would take 792p/60fps over 1080p/30fps any day.
-
I've been playing halo for 13 years at 30 FPS.
-
You're right. Those fps issues are why mlg completely passed on halo 2
-
Your speaking to the company that made both Halo 2,3, and Reach. All of which ran at 30 FPS. 2 of which were played competitively. One of which defined competitive gaming when it was played. FPS matters, but so very very little.
-
Disaster? Were you asleep during the Halo MLG days? Or are you just suffering from head trauma?
-
It`s primarily the last-gen holding it back but the X1 is as well it`s all Parity well come to next gen.

5 RespuestasWhile I personally don't give two shits about framerate, since I think that gameplay and story are more important, they should at least let us choose between 60fps 720p and 30fps 1080p in the options menu, like PC players can.
-
As long as it doesn't dip below 30, I'm good.
-
Destiny is mostly PVE. But it'll still be ok in PVP... I think
-
20fps, 30fps, 60fps, 1000fps. It doesn't matter. As long as it's the same for everyone, it's a level playing field.
-
I'm just going to leave this here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXJh9ut2hrc
30 FPS sucks once you get the facts straight.
2 RespuestasEditado por Cyclone: 7/15/2014 6:51:21 AMlol thinking that destiny multiplayer Will be competitive
-
7 RespuestasOh STFU. Theres NO way for anyone to physically see the difference between 30 & 60 FPS. OH no! The games only 30 fps! Its totally unplayable! Lol. Get a life.
-
Editado por Mockers-: 7/15/2014 3:44:19 AMGame is obviously made with intent of current gen and next gen as an after thought. Don't be surprised if destiny for next gen gets an update for this within a year or two when last gen gets left behind. I think destiny defiantly is bring held back from its potential because of last gen. Hopefully the updates and the next installment is really where we can see the next gen features. On a side note though the graphics look next genish on all consoles. Have to realize this game was being made way before next gen was even announced.

8 RespuestasI just want to point out most movies are using only 24 fps
-
If it can remain at a constant 30 fps, I don't care. I hate when I have huge frame rate drops in games, whether its 60 or 30 fps. Bf4 has 60 fps, but it has huge framerate drops. Doesn't mean shit unless its consistent. Ill take a more efficient 30 fps over a possibly inconsistent 60 fps.
-
2 RespuestasIf you play minecraft, don't bitch about graphics. And we all know you do.
-
1 RespuestaIt wouldn't have to be raised by much but we wouldn't notice 60fps
-
1 RespuestaIt just sounds like people who can game at 30 fps have the upper hand. I, for one, am okay with this. Competition is all about adaptation. If you can't adapt, then competition just isn't for you.
