PlayStation Users!
First of all, I cannot wait to play Destiny! I'm an Xbox user and have been for a very long time. I feel like some of us are representing the rest of the Xbox community in a bad way... For this, I am so sorry. There are a lot of people who are really excited for Destiny and are saddened seeing all the arguments in these forums. I hope that all of you guys are SUPER excited to play Destiny as well! Let's just try to get along, we are almost there!

1 RespuestaTotally ready for some Destiny on my PS4. Im glad your exited too! I will say its still a double take when I see the Bungie Logo and look down at my dual shock 4 controller. Same thing happened to me when That iconic "SEGA" dropped when I put the first Sega game into the GameCube. The feeling is only temporary! But its a good kinda weird!

5 RespuestasI'm also a Xbox gamer and we have been the soil for the Bungie Community for a very long time. Now our garden grows and is intertwining with PlayStation gamer's. Some plants in this garden are receiving more nourishment and water while some plants are growing thorns and attracting insects, but some are bringing happiness and joy. Sorry for the Mr. Miyagi like metaphor, but we shouldn't feel like we are rejected and unloved by Bungie. We get to[b] play [/b]the Beta, we will eventually get the timed exclusives and we will all be playing on September 9th. So rejoice in the fact that it's a great time to be gamer.

Playstation players are just as bad, they need to learn respect for the people who gave these forums life. They have no right to come here and call us names and criticise our choice in platform. I could not care less if the playstation community stays or leaves if god forbid destiny isn't all its cracked up to be. I will still be here, and I will be here until the end, although some days I will miss the old days and my old account. But those days are past guardians, and in the past they must remain. 2 RespuestasI've never understood these so called wars. I have always and always will own both consoles. It just makes sense to me. Having said that, it's very difficult sometimes deciding which platform to get a multiplat on when you have friends on both sides of the fence. Destiny is breaking me. I wound up getting two copies. I know it sounds crazy, but this game deserves to be shared with everybody.

Until these forums can get over what console they will be playing on, we need sub forums for PS4+PS3 and Xbox one+Xbox 360. For me, I'm fine with this one destiny forum. But obviously the community, both sony and microsoft fans, can't get along even half the time it seems.

Great to see a gamer as a gamer not a platform. The only thing that matters is the game is good and works properly that's what the alpha/beta is for, not to please anyone. Myself a long time Gamer has seen how the games has decreased in quality year after year, quality as in "the game works" not "how good it looks". Studios/Distributors like EA, DICE, Blizzard have been cranking out games with lots of problems at launch and expect the players to "understand" and put up with patch after patch that most of the time cause more problems than solutions. I played the alpha and I was completely amazed at the quality of the game at that stage, it was flawless to me everything worked, I have played MANY games at the alpha stage and they have never worked that well. I'm always willing to play games at those levels because I know it helps the studio make it better for the later release not because I get to play it before anyone else, take this opportunity to find the issues and report them to Bungie so everyone else can enjoy Destiny without it. Hopefully one day we can cross-platform play but with communities that complain for little things like this that is a long way off

On the up side for owners of XBoxen one and 360, its pretty much a given that the game Destiny wont be broken and there will be performance parity, be glad that Bungie is not Bethesda. Dont sweat the DLC and beta stuff guys, having a great game that isn't broken thumps everything. Too bad the network aint cross platforms , peace out.

3 RespuestasWon't lie, still a little grump about how one sided content and such is being handled with Destiny. However, that's nothing to hold against the Playstation players. It's not their fault Bungie, Activision or whoever is deciding how to spread out the content and how long it stays exclusive. I hope you guys have a ton of fun with Destiny and see what Bungie can do if you've never played one of their games before. And don't let any of the super disgruntled Xbox peeps bring you down, enjoy the game for what it's worth. :)

All of this finger pointing is really kind of embarrassing and does not make any of us look like rational people. I guess we shouldn't ever hold our breath for cross platform play in any game if we can't even get along in the forums. Those that have it right will see each other planet side.
