Why is everyone choosing the Hunter class ?? I do not see what is attracting in them...

well from a day one perspective.. the lock and titan supers in multiplayer miiiiight get you more than one kill and can get you more than three.. but for now the golden gun likely carries the highest statistical kill rate per use. and the ranged melee special doesn't hurt either.. but it's all subjective to be sure.. once titans dont have to walk right up to their opponents to super that'll help their weakness out and so will almost every other ability enhancement for every class.. so its personal

Honestly they are all really close. I played as all 3 and still can't pick a favorite. I thought there was an even amount of each in the alpha.
-
We had a poll asking what class people were going to choose and it was pretty much split three ways, so it isnt like 98% of people are going to be hunters, 1.5% titans and 0.5% warlocks. It will be fairly even.

10 RespuestasI really feel like this is one of the "problems" with destiny the lack of class diversity. I mean I think if there were four classes the distribution across the board would have been a lot better. But this is a hair splitting complaint I mean with the specials and diversity between the subclasses it'll be ok I think. But if they made four more classes to me it would have been better in terms of distribution

These threads need to stop. Everyone is picking a different class/race. They are all pretty much even.
-
The titan is not even that bulky. I don't like how that's reason some don't like the Titan. Each class is cool and all.
-
1 RespuestaWarlock what about him? Oh and by the way hardly anyone wants the Titan because their not "bulky" enough around crowds of enemies.
-
I'm digging the Titan myself. Played an EXO in alpha, and that's what I'll be at launch. Although, I'll level up all three classes at some point.
-
They probably like the golden revolver or with ever it's meant to be.

1 RespuestaWell, considering other shooters, maybe it's because the multiplayer from other games involved a lot of lone wolfing and stealthing (like CoD as one example although it's probably not the best example to throw out there) your way as much as possible to complete objectives. If I recall correctly, Bungie described it as such or presented it as such in its trailers and gameplay through its abilities. It's a possibility it seemed generic to a few but also exactly what other people are looking for. At least out of the 3 classes it does have a cloaking ability (correct me if I'm wrong), but at this point I'm assuming a lot of people like stealth most of the time so the class just appealed to them. My thoughts, not yours, I still think it looks badass even if I'm playing as a warlock.
-
I don't play as hunter. I play Titan.
-
I'm not much of a Titan type player and my bro is gonna be a Warlock. That cape, gotta love the cape. Kinda reminds me of Boba Fett too.
-
I went Hunter because of the extra mobility they have over the other classes.
-
People pick it for speed. His super which are flipping amazing. And of course his badass looks.in my opinion I was a hunter in the alpha and maxed him out on everything that you could... I Tryed a warlock and to be aunest the thing was slow as hell especially when he jumps 2ice all the thing does is float slowly . Now I assume u probly can upgrade the jumping but for what I played it just wasn't me. The only thing I did like but hated at the same time about the warlock is the nova bomb , it is OP as hell and if your on the other side of the nova bomb it's extremely annoying.

If you look at any of the dozens of class polls then the data averages around 1/3 for each class. For some reason popular opinion seems to favor a class for a minute and it seems like everyone is that class until it cycles to the next class being more favored, but the averages never change.
-
Visuals naturally, people view the warlock as squishy even though it's not and some people aren't into magic. It's a new halo concept we'll see more mmorpg players use I think. Plus the hunter was shown a lot with the sniper so many people associate sniping, a popular part of a Halo style game, with the hunter. We all know all the weapons themselves are interchangeable between classes

1 RespuestaFrom my experience in Alpha Warlock was the most popular and after talking to people on the forums and seeing different polls it looks like it is slightly more popular than the Hunter. As for why the Hunter is popular. Speed. The Hunter is, from a control/fluidity stand, point extremely fun to play. The double jump can help you escape very quickly. Throwing knife critical hits are awesome. And in PVP they are kickass. That being said my main is going to be a Warlock.

Because Space Cowboy

After playing the Alpha the Hunter isn't what I expected. It's tough little number that is more a brawler than anything else. That said I had more fun as a Titan and felt natural in its jumps, special attack, and melee attack. It'll be fun to watch the Hunters in action while I'm punching Hive Knights in the mug.

1 RespuestaEditado por cronshaw8: 6/21/2014 1:07:27 PMThe hunter melee is really versatile and looking down the skill tree there are a lot of buffs to the cooldown that could allow a player to be throwing knives quite a lot The double jump is nice and easy to use (after playing all three classes I think the warlock's glide is the most useful in combat though) Ultimately the two things that i think are really appealing to people are that it seems to be the "skill" class; in that the hunter's abilities are enhanced if you have good aim and people like the look of the class aesthetically I'll be playing a warlock 1st though, then a hunter, then a titan.

3 RespuestasAll I know is, me and my cousin will be walking around as titans, manhandling the bad guys ( No, not that kind of handling ) and becoming shitdisturbers. All you hunters and locks best watch out. Get at me bruv.

Editado por blAcKnaRoCk: 6/21/2014 12:46:03 AMFor me I prefer handguns and knives. My gun skills are well developed so the arcblade would balance my playstyle. Im not a big fan of sniping but Im semi skilled at it. I also like the hood and cape alot. Ill play warlock and titan eventually but the hunter seems to be more built for speed and precision which fits my style.
-
1 RespuestaMy logic was "eenie, meenie, miny....." Hunter won
-
Because ever since people having play cod and all those games they love snipers even tho any class can use them? My pick is warlock or titan....warlock because they look unique and titan because they remind me of Spartans and my race would be exo or awoken?
-
2 Respuestasmeh, there's only 3 classes, I'm surprised when it comes to these polls that the numbers are as close as they are to each other. Besides, I think Locks are pulling ahead in most those polls anyway.
-
1 RespuestaNot me I like warlock lookin at an awoken warlock. I'm really not much of a sniper but I like pistols and all classes use them plus warlocks have blaming! NOVA BOMBS!!!!
