Will enough people play on the Xbox 360 version of Destiny???
So, I pre-ordered Destiny, payed it full price already and entered in my Beta code so I'm set and ready to go! I've been reading a lot of the forums lately and something came across my mind: Right now, I can't afford to just go out and buy a next gen console like a PS4 or an Xbox One, so I'm getting the 360 version of Destiny. And everyone seems to talk about the Xbox One and PS4 versions more on this website. I'm just wondering if enough people will play it on the 360 so I'm not lonely, I mean this game isn't cross platform, so I'm worried that more people will play the next gen consoles and leave current gen in the dust. I'm going to be stuck with my 360 until I can eventually afford to go out and buy one of the next gen consoles. Will the 360 version of Destiny have enough players to where I feel like there's plenty of people playing? I just don't want to feel lonely on my Destiny adventures on my old 360. Thanks!

2 RespuestasUntil the true next gen games start to come out I would expect more PS3/360 players than PS4/One players. That will be the big switch over. So you should not have any shortage of friends to defend humanity with.

I imagine many people are like me and just can't splash $400-$500 on a next gen machine. Maybe in a year or 2 I will, but for now I will stick to the 360.

Yes, dont worry, I will be there too, and I'd say about 70% of people who play games dont go to forums or website for the game, so polls could be wrong and you will find more people in the game.

The number on the 360 will be down ... so expect a little more lag than you may of wanted :( Gamers will be devided over the 4 consoles, and givens bungies favor towards Playstation I am guessing many will pick that release (if they can make the call). But that is only the start. It is not like normal FPS games. For example in Reach you had the total player population divided into 1 of 4 maps. However in destiny the "maps" will be replaced by 100's of locations/quests/zones. So again, the "good connection" will be doubtful, or worse still find yourself alone with nothing but AI in an "always online" game.

Don't worry, the 360 population will definitely stay stable. The PS3 version is the one that will have the least amount of people.
