Why did 343 go the route of CoD with Halo 4?
I'm not complaining or anything but I wanted to know why they did so. I know it was to drag CoD fanboys over which we all knew that wasn't going to happen.
So why couldn't they just make a Halo game that could of brought Halo back? Such a huge responsibility with little to no effort.

Trying to ride the hype train and get some of the massive CoD player base. The result being Halo 4 lost its edge and sharp focus, and became a blurry master-of-none forgettable mess.

Because whoever designed the core gameplay of the game is a goddamn idiot. People say Reach started it, but I would say that Halo 4 took a much MUCH larger jump.
