A lot of people have been complaining about how no PvP gameplay has been shown. However I think that because Destiny is a story driven game, its good that we have seen PvE areas first.
However my opinion does not speak for the community in general, what do you think the most important type of gameplay in Destiny is? (Choose your favorite)
[edit: many of you partook in the alpha, and many more will in the beta, has your choice/opinion changed?]

1 RespuestaMy votes for PvE. I use to play tons of PvP back in my day, but now I find myself getting easily bored with it. I'm not saying that Destiny's PvP will be boring, however I find working together with my fellow guardians on raids and strikes to be more my style nowadays.

1 RespuestaI'm more of a PvP guy. I want to fight with real people.

11 RespuestasWho the -blam!- would say that PvP is the most important thing in Destiny?! If they hadn't added it I wouldn't really complain, I'm not saying I wont play it. It's just not an important part in Destiny for me.

5 RespuestasThe latest podcast (January edition) talks about multiplayer.

12 RespuestasFor me personally I'm looking forward to co-op PvE more but as a game Destiny will be PvP focused. I don't know if you guys haven't played a bungie game before or what but competitive multiplayer is definitely what they focus on. If you keep up with the podcasts and updates you can tell how much work is going into it. The reason they haven't showed it off yet is they are trying to save their biggest aspects for last, we will see how big it is at E3.

7 RespuestasI have seen pvp gameplay look for More console on YouTube he has a video that shows the 5 game types which have all been talked about by bungie game designers, except the pvp it hasn't been talked about by bungie but it was in the very same video where they mentioned the four other game types which are all confirmed

1 RespuestaI always love the PVE in games and with the fact it's going to constantly update I just can't wait. To me PvP is always a end game.

2 Respuestas
A lot of people have been complaining about how no PvP gameplay has been shown. However I think that because Destiny is a story driven game, its good that we have seen PvE areas first.
I agree. Think of it this way. Everyone knows you get CoD and BF for the PvP experience and every trailer for each is like "we have this amazing single player experience....... But here is tons of PvP action because we know that's why you're here for." I think the opposite is true for Destiny. Bungie knows what's up with PvP and they know their fanbase will be big on PvP so, to me, them pretty much spending 99.9% of their time on the PvE aspect is them saying "we know you'll PvP, but this PvE aspect is legit and you're going to have a lot of fun things to do that doesn't involve shooting a fellow guardian."

1 RespuestaI enjoy PvP because a nice kill streak gets my adrenalin going.

1 RespuestaCooperating only results in exposing the derp on people....like battlefield 4 this game is going to expose the stupidity of 91% of the gaming population and why it's important to go to school at least through high school Competitively this will be great because they will be easy to kill

1 RespuestaI played more Halo than I can remember. I stomped n00bs all day, every day. I made so many friends and have so many memories - I can't wait for another PvP game that I can just pour insane amounts of hours into. The fact that Destiny has an RPG element (something I've never experienced before) makes this game even more awesome. I mean, who better to have at your side than Bungie when taking a leap into the unknown?

3 RespuestasI will mostly focus on pve, I will play pvp but not as much

12 RespuestasI think I may have posted this before, but just in case: PvP and PvE at the same time (only in certain servers).
