Yeah most of the rpg style games I play I'll start off as a Mage, Diablo 3 was actually the first time I haven't played that way, actually enjoy the hunter class in that game. I think the appeal though is their skills, glide looks pretty cool to get you out of a sticky situation perhaps and only class with an AOE (I think)
