Can someone teach me to not suck at Titanfall?
I'm at the bottom of the leaderboard every time... I've played around 30 games and won 4 of them.
Is there a learning curve I'm not grasping? I'm used to playing shooters like Halo, which I was pretty good at. But I'm just plain terrible at Titanfall.
Help me community.

Ogre titan, triple threat with extended magazine, nuclear ejection, core extender Dont even bother aiming down sights with the smg, just make sure youre constantly wall running and closing the gap between you and the enemy. jump right in their face and spray the lead. With the titan just constantly spam the triple threat bombs into buildings and around corners and youll pick up random kills, get up close and shoot the grenades right into other titans back.

2 RespuestasDon't run out in the open parkour from building to building keeps you from being spotted most of the time. When in a titan always punch, when you punch you take down their shield almost completely or completely if your in an ogre and some health keep punching and see big chunks of health fly away then hopefully you'll execute him and not let him get away.

The trick to REALLY win is by unistalling the game, breaking the disc, and throwing your XBONE or PC into a wall.

Use the walls and roofs as much as you use the ground, always be moving, use the camo to move in open areas so that you are not spotted by a Titan, use the thrusters on the Titan regularly, too. Also it could just be your team who sucks.

Here's my strategy for Attrition every game (and I almost always end up winning the game and at the top): Right when the game starts, grab a silencer and flank full left or right. Make sure you utilize the ziplines, because you could find yourself behind their backs at the beginning of the game if you play it right. Also, if there at least 3 grunts, specters, or an Auto-Titan shooting at you, turn on your camo right away. It won't save you from other players that much, but at least the AI can't see you. I'm usually one who sticks to the shadows and uses the element of surprise when it comes to online games. You ready to hear my killer move I got from a guy online? Here it is: Say your on ground level on a street or something and your shootin out of a doorway pickin badguys off. Then all of a sudden, a Pilot sees you. Wait for him to get close enough, and as soon as you see him chasing towards you, run into the building. This next part is tricky: If there's one way to go through the building, good for you. If there isn't, pick the path that has the most cover. Once you get moving, the next doorway you enter, take a sharp turn, parkour your way up into the corner of the ceiling, wallhang, and turn on your camo. If you do this right, you'll get'em good. You don't even have to do all that "pathway" stuff. Really I suppose you just have to go to the corner of the ceiling and do it. I prefer to do that pathways trick first because it makes them think they've got you on the run until you end up doing a blindside sneak attack.

Then run away and regroup. - No need to call your Titan down immediately; wait until it's clear. - Figure out your play style by setting up and switching between CBQ, Assault Rifle and Sniper builds. (I thought I was CBQ, turns out I'm Assault Rifle for everything except Hardpoint.) - Your radar is more important than ever. - Don't forget about your cloak. Doing all of this? ...I blame the lag. :)

I'm not saying I'm bad, I'm average at best. I think you need to not care about doing good in Titanfall. It's too casual of a game to have a tryhard/must win attitude. The game get's very boring when you're avoiding Titans and playing passive. Just rush into them with your titan killer gun equipped. When you get a Titan use it like you're Rambo. Just try to hardly take the game seriously.

Make sure your loadouts work for that game type. i.e Hardpoint should use close quarters like SMG or EVA8. Most other game modes can really use any. Don't camp. Although I love turning heads on campers, don't do it! Use the parkour any place you can. Grunts will rack up points and XP and reduce build time so kill like 5-10 at the beginning of a match. Make sure your Titan chaise (don't think that is spelled right) is the same as your play style. It helps you flow as soon as you get it. Anything else is probably on here already. ;) Hope this helps.

[spoiler]I'm usually positive on a pilot kill/death ratio, so this advice is working for me[/spoiler]

If you arent doing well, put on The Eva-8, stick to close uarters and blow everything in your path to kingdom come. If you insist on using the Carbine make sure you are constantly wallrunning, and sticking to the roof. The carbine is a good weapon and wont fail you if your aim is true. It's like using an ACR ir M4A1 from CoD If you want to take the hard route use the G2A4 or Hemlock BF-R. Those are highly underpowered weaponns. Once you get used to them you will be much better with the other weapons.

Carbine with suppressor and holo sight. Titan with plasma rail gun. That things brings a lot of hurt.

From having played the beta on PC I can tell you the only way to do good is to pretty much ignore the grunts and control the high ground. Use the shotgun or the carbine, always keep moving, and don't use the titans like they're indestructible.

I personally try not to jump around to awfully much, because that gives me away very easily. Oh, and I use a suppressed Carbine and cloak 24/7. Helps A LOT.
