How do you pick your first helmet, is it randomized, or do you even get starting equipment? HOWDOWEDODIS!? #IDontUnderstand

It would be funny if we all got the bungie noobswords that the new employees got, and a wooden noobhelmet to go with it. XD

Huh...?

Editado por Warlock: 1/27/2014 11:22:20 PMI actually have a hunch of my own now. I believe that when you pick your class, race etc., you're also prompted to pick a faction, and for example, if I pick FWC (Future War Culture), I unlock the Fusion rifle and the helmet according to the FWC, eventually we expand and get our own better helmets/weapons. although that theory sounds too ristricting in my opinion. Just a theory.
-
I think you're right. But the faction exclusive weapons such as the Conduit F3 Fusion rifle appear to be higher level gear. Which probably means it won't be available at level one.
-
Yeah, but like I said it's probably too ristricting, I think that because I don't want to be in a faction.

Editado por Big Bunny: 1/29/2014 8:51:26 PMWell I think that you have to be in a faction regardless. I say that because factions are a key feature of competitive multiplayer.
-
Crap. I'll probably pick Dead Orbit.
-
Like Charlemagne said, nothing has been confirmed. But I'm sure when you pick your character there will be a select few helmets to choose from depending on your class. As well as all of the other customization options explained in Gameinformer's spread on Destiny.
-
Where can I find this spread?

Editado por Big Bunny: 1/27/2014 9:31:02 PMTo get the whole thing you need to have a subscription to Gameinformer magazine. But a majority of the content from the issue is summed up here: http://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/1s1uvi/gameinformer_destiny_issue_bulletpoint_breakdown/ They mention facial customizations such as structure, hairstyles, and tatoos.

There's probably class based starting equipment that is either the default, assigned to you randomly, or you are presented with option. Nothin has been confirmed though.
