I really did like Preston Cole. A sensible, down to earth kind of person who ended up in the spotlight having to practically lead his species. All he ever wanted was a nice farm to retire on..... Also, for fun, let's see if any of you remember these two characters^

The Arbiter. While Master Chief is your Knight-in-slightly-murky-armour, you sort of know he's going to be okay, because he's the main character, but the Arbiter is a really interesting character who I hope doesn't get screwed up in the future.
