1 RespuestaWhile college and pro football are great and I love them dearly, there isn't anything like the friday night atmosphere around a great highschool football game. maybe its just because I played, but there was something special about having almost every game a "rivalry" game. Literally playing against towns 10-15 min away. But yeah, I'd say try and give football a chance. Many people who "hate" it, never gave it a chance.

Have you ever actually tried to watch football or have you just never gotten into it? I didn't particularly care for it until band in high school where we play at the football games

It's honestly not as interesting as other sports when watched. I had fun when I played though.

yeah I'm glad I don't live in an area that sports rule all. Don't care for football and if people didn't like that I don't like football they can deal with it. I would move somewhere else where people aren't idiots and realize everyone has different tastes. I live in a place where no one is an idiot and doesn't flip out that I don't watch sports. Rational thinking people who are like "cool stuff, this person doesn't like my sport and I understand that".

Liking it makes things easy here. Having a good knowledge of football gives you a common interest with about 90% of guys.
