5 RespuestasTo be honest, I kinda dislike it. It has some redeeming qualities, primarily Amon. My biggest grips with it are: - Bolin is an obvious, and forced, clone of Sokka. His behaviour was okay initially, however it soon became grossly tedious and began to increasingly mirror Sokka's humour, only to an exaggerated extent. His jokes are way too forced and his constant eccentricities make him very difficult to take seriously at all. At least Sokka had a balance of humour and seriousness at times, whereas Bolin is constantly a joke. Hell, even his love interest (I forgot her name) in Book 2 was for comedic puposes. - I hate Mako. I really do. His character is pretty much flawless. He's handsome, talented, a womaniser, the list goes on. Not only that, but he's just such a bore. Maybe its just a personal thing, but he really puts me to sleep whenever on screen - perhaps its because his supposed perfection gets in the way of developing any interest for him. Additionally, his whole consistent love triangle with Korra and Asami is just annoying and, quite frankly, unnecessary. - Korra is a bitch. That is all. - I hate the ending to Season 1 so much. Amon should have been the villain for more than one series, especially since as soon as his character starts to develop and become more enticing they decide to swiftly end his story arc. What really pisses me off is that Korra loses her bending (except for air, which she can magically use all of a sudden) and literally gets it back in like 10 minutes from Aang. In addition to that, she also masters air bending and the Avatar State in mere seconds. Aang had to sacifice so much to learn the elements and how to control the Avatar State, whilst Korra just gets it given to her so that they can save time. Furthermore, not only is Korra gifted with sudden control over the elements, Avatar State and her spiritual side (despiite having extensive trouble with this and successfully meditating only once in the first season), but she also gives everyone back their bending - effectively removing all sense of consequence from Amon's presence and attack on Republic City. In my opinion, it should've ended with Korra losing her bending and Amon gaining control over Republic City. Korra would later find herself in the spirit world, being unconscious after losing her bending. In the spirit world, she encounters Aang who tells her that there is more to be being the Avatar than having the ability to bend all four elements, and that she should find the solace to set things right. After emerging from the spirit world, she finds that she can bend once again, however her skills are a lot weaker than before, encouraging her to relearn some of what she has lost. Although frustrated at first, her loss soon motivates her to become more patient, and thus learns air bending through constant meditation and self-temperament. Book 2 would focus on Team Avatar attempting to stop Amon and his army from conquering other cities, cuz Amon is just too awesome to have for just one series.

Nuktuk turned it around for me. It wasnt horrible before, but once that got started, I couldnt stop watching

1 RespuestaAsami is *awesome.
*That wretch noblewoman
-
Not as good as TLA. Better than 93% of things on television.
-
Avatar: The Last Airbender was superior in my opinion. However, The Legend of Korra is still a decent show, and perhaps one of the best current cartoons out there.
-
The characters are really boring in my opinion.
-
2 RespuestasThey ruined it just like the movie ruined it
-
I like it but...... Whenever Korra becomes somewhat of a completely idiotic arsehole that's when I think something's off.
-
I've never seen it, but I'd like to check it out. Not really sure where I could watch it though.

1 RespuestaI love it, more so than the original maybe. That doesn't mean its better, infact I hate a lot of things about the show. I hate the technology. I hate the "romance" (even though I shed a tear at the end of Spirits). I hate Republic City. I hate Bolin. But I love Korra.
-
Could she end up learning "Blood" bending??? I've only seen a few episodes of "Legend of Korra", but I have seen most of "The Last Air Bender". And in an episode Katara learned "Blood" bending... Or is she to ashamed about it???
-
1 RespuestaNever watched it. People tell me I should though.
-
I picked the top but I would do the bottom option over and over again.
-
Not good from what I watched. Then again I'm not big into Anime stuff

9 RespuestasThey need more badass bending and need to expand the setting. I'm tired of lame ass cities and shit. I want some real mob drama, more graphic combat, dynamic bending, personal loss, character backstories and development, and more elaboration on technology. I want them to discover a weapon that isn't bending oriented. When the hell are they going to develop a firearm like weapon? And damn it! They need to make Asami more interesting. She is one of the hottest characters in the show. She needs to be less plain!
-
I never watched any of it.
-
Good show but she is a terrible avatar
-
1 RespuestaToo much teen drama, too much romance, not enough badass bending.
-
I don't particularly like any of the characters and actively dislike a few of them, yet I still watch. also option D, obviously

1 RespuestaEditado por Caldo: 12/14/2013 2:05:18 PMWhy can't I pick option A and D?!
-
It's definitely not the original. One aspect they increased was comedic effect, with more than just Sokka and Aang providing most of the humor. I question the plot at times, but it is still overall satisfying to me.
-
Haven't seen it or most of the end of ATLA... I would like to though, so I can't give an opinion at the moment.

Editado por Ms Blue Phacelia: 12/13/2013 12:44:35 AMI dislike the fact that there isn't one major enemy to defeat that all the books build up toward in the end. Theoretically this allows the series to run infinitely. Knowing nick, if it remains popular, they will try.
