I see that it has been for a long time. Let's accept the reality that Barack Obama is a carbon copy of George Bush and that neither Big Government party is going to help. They have only made things much worse.
So, what do we do? I'm assuming that most of you admit the government is corrupt and tyrannical, it's blatantly obvious. So, why don't we do something about it? Why do we allow things to continually get worse and worse?
Are we really going to doom the next generation?
(This is not just the American government, plenty others are just as corrupt and the entire world is on the edge of collapse)

I've been alive twice that, and I wouldn't say I've been here a long time.
Let's accept the reality that Barack Obama is a carbon copy of George Bush and that neither Big Government party is going to help. They have only made things much worse.
Umm. No. Not even close. I haven't seen Obama ignore terrorist warnings nor start a war that nobody wanted. As for making things worse, the Jobs report came out today, 7%. Less than 1/2 it was when Bush left office. Things are getting better.
So, what do we do?
What we have been doing.
I'm assuming that most of you admit the government is corrupt and tyrannical, it's blatantly obvious.
That's a pretty big assumption, since you are singular in your belief.
So, why don't we do something about it?
Why?
Why do we allow things to continually get worse and worse?
But, as I pointed out above, they are getting better.
Are we really going to doom the next generation?
To what? A cleaner environment and better technology? If that's doomed, then sign me up!
(This is not just the American government, plenty others are just as corrupt and the entire world is on the edge of collapse)
The USA is about to collapse? News to m...well everyone. Go back to getting high and looking a booty pics. Step away from the keyboard. And the only one delusional here is YOU!

Sir, are you proposing a revolution?

1 RespuestaI'd say tyrannical is a strong word. It's hopelessly inefficient and often corrupt, but the fact that you can openly criticize the government and not fear any kind of retaliation is evidence enough that it hasn't reached that point yet.

4 RespuestasDid you know that smoking pot can make you grow moobs?

Corrupt? Yeah. Tyrannical? Not really. Pants on Head Retarded? Bingo!
-
3 RespuestasTo say that America's government is tyrannical dilutes the definition of tyranny. Seriously, this thread is made out of serious entitlement, America isn't even close to tyranny. There are actual tyrannical regimes on the planet. America is not one of them. Corrupt is probably a better word.

But Obama is black and Bush is white. How can they be carbon copies?
Racesption?
Obama is secretly a shape shifting Tyrannosaurus Rex that wants to take control of the world and force its human population to work in the salt mines. This is how Obamasaurus Rex will power his homing beacon that will give the location of the Earth to the rest of the Tyrannosaurus fleet who will then terraform earth to become a new Tyrannosaurus colony and export all the humans to be used as pets and slaves on the intergalactic slave market.

In some ways, I guess that could be argued, but overall, no.

5 RespuestasEditado por challengerX: 12/5/2013 12:12:16 PMAll goverments are corrupt and are simply there to further their own agendas and fill their pockets with money. Governments have never been here to serve us, just to control us. The problem is the alternative to these assholes is much worse.

5 RespuestasI believe you should stop making alts.

It is. The only way to alleviate this is by severely limiting the power and scope of government.
