It's just a shame that the continent has a lot of progress to go through, and it has so much potential. Their rate of progress is steep, but they're just so far behind. With the abundance of resources, they could do a lot in terms of world economics, production, etc. All that needs to happen is a change of how things are ran (except the Europeans screwed that up). I wonder how the sub saharan region will be 100 years from now. They have my support.

14 RespuestasOut of interest, why does everybody have such a problem with the whole natural resources thing? While civilizations across the rest of the world were busy advancing, Africans hadn't invented the wheel. They weren't about to start commercial mining operations. We've since hauled their backward asses into the 21st century, and if they want to start competing on the free market, they're more than welcome. But I can't see why just being on the same arbitrary landmass as oil and uranium deposits means you have a God-given right to them.
