We need micro transactions in destiny, I don't want to spend 60 hours trying to get that sweet looking magnum it's better to let us buy the strong weapons at the start of the game. That way you don't have to spend hours wasting time in the story and go straight to pvp. That's what makes EA so successful, they make a business model designed for the gamer.
The only people opposed to micro transactions are lazy poor people, just because they can't afford the best weapons and gear doesn't mean that I shouldn't be entitled to it, life doesn't work that way.
I think the rare and most powerful weapons should all be made available for pay on demand, this will bring more business to the publishers and allow for more customization.

1 RespuestaEditado por The Bird: 11/23/2013 12:13:13 AMBungie has already stated that it will not be a "pay to win" model, and that the best gear will be earned. Go listen to the first Destiny Bungie podcast.

2 RespuestasEditado por MayhemElectric: 11/22/2013 9:36:29 PMDoes anyone remember a time, long ago, when in game items where earned through time spent with that title. With any legendary weapons or rare weapons, however you would like to phrase it, are just handed out to those willing to throw down cash as opposed to investing time with the game diminishes the value of that content. And I feel that's unfortunate. I'm old school and I feel that a games full experience should not be reserved to those who are willing to dish out money up front. Not to disrespect those willing to do so I just don't care for the idea. Micro transactions are the devil...and it's made certain gamers lazy.

Editado por Guru: 11/22/2013 9:23:23 PMThey are a way of making more money. Say a company doesn't think they can make enough money on sales alone because of a big budget etc. so it can help them so they can continue making games or maybe they are just a bunch of dicks with power. I for one don't like them unless they give you cosmetic things. Sarcasm is very obvious.

As others said we actually want to play a game it will ruin the experience for everyone else we are not "lazy poor people" we just don't want to shell out tons of cash for the "best" weapons we want a challenge I mean what's the point of getting a game if your just gonna pay 100$ to get the best stuff and 1 shot everybody games are supposed to be fun and challenging not "pay 2 win" And my troll meters are rising

2 RespuestasEditado por Hawke: 11/22/2013 4:55:05 PMAhahaha. Super funny. /sarcasm Improving this: Paragraphs 2 and 3 are too obvious. Subtlety is your friend. Always include specific, key misspellings. Try to write with a condescending attitude. Hide your post history. Anyone can see that you're from #Off-topic. Remember. A good trolls makes people laugh.

Oh and WE are the lazy ones? "I dont wanna play the game, mommy, i want cool guns NOW!!!" Wahhh :c
-
the purpose of playing a game is to play not to pay to instantly get the best weapons and Armour or your just skipping a massive part of the game exploring to find new stuff fight new enemy's find new friends and have fun while doing it
-
1 RespuestaYea because a group of people arent gonna buy over powered gear and ruin the experience for everybody else
-
May I say good sir, well done. Well written, as well as being executed fantastically. And that ending, only icing on the cake. 10/10

1 RespuestaAt least spelling improved over the years.
-
It started out very clever. Had you kept it at that subtlety level, it would have been brilliant. Unfortunately, paragraphs two and three are just way too over the top and really lessen the impact.

1 RespuestaThats a reasonable pvp point of view i respect that but i think that we should be able to get the weapons but i prefer getting them off working hard it makes you feel better inside

12 RespuestasWow... just wow... Make the game pay to win? No. Microtransactions for some new skins that have zero affect on actual gameplay? I'm all for it. Otherwise it's like; Why play fair when I can just cheat to win? Bungie is trying to create an immersive game that keep us moving and exploring to find better gear and so we can see the work they've put into the environment for us to play in. Let's keep it that way, shall we?

1 RespuestaOMG people actually taking this bait, didn't realise this forum was at such levels of stupid.

Editado por Crimson Thomas: 11/20/2013 10:49:08 PMHopefully this is just a sarcastic post... ...If you're actually serious, you could not be more wrong. Paying to become the best in a game is what is rotting today's games and their communities from the inside out. This is especially true in the case of Destiny, where the whole purpose is to become legend because of your travels and battles, not because you or your parents have a fat credit card. If Exotic equipment was available for purchase has rather than actually earning it, the entire purpose of Destiny's gameplay and story would be rendered redundant and pointless. All of this goes without mentioning the toxic effect that pay-to-win mechanics have on game communities. Keep publisher greed out of Destiny. That is not what the gamer wants. If you don't want to put the time in and play the game how Bungie designed it, then Destiny probably isn't for you. No developer should ever cater to the owner of a fat credit card having zero sense of monetary value as their primary audience.

1 RespuestaObvious troll is obvious.

Destiny is the type of game when you have to work for the awesome weapons and armor, not buy it. If you could buy the weapons and armor I think that the game would be worthless.

5 RespuestasMicro transactions are for spoiled bitches!!! Play the game, have fun!!! If you want to become Legend, then get to work!!!
