Now that patch 6.79 is live and we have been able to see it in action, I'd like to know y'alls opinion on the many changes. What do you like the most, the least? Would you consider the patch good or bad overall for DotA? To my knowledge this is the first time Dota 2 has been updated before DotA, does anyone else think this is significant, out with the old in with the new?
For me, I don't much like all the changes, this patch and ones prior, but I understand most of them. I'm just used to the old ways I guess, though DotA has always been evolving, being tweaked for balance here and there by Icefrog, its just now a lot of things are being overhauled all at once since they now have a whole team working on it at Valve. Take Aghanim's Scepter for example, back in the day only a handful of intelligence heroes enjoyed the buff to their ultimate, but now it feels like half the heroes gain some random buff just for the sake of having a buff.
The things I believe will bring the most enjoyment from this patch are the buffs given to two of my favorite heroes, Pugna and Ancient Apparition.
