Amazon.co.uk Beta Codes
Preordered Destiny for the Xbox One console back in June. Called them today regarding the beta but they have not been notified yet.
They said they will be sending a mass email to all their customers that preordered the game.
Will keep this topic updated when I hear something new.

I'm pretty sure on October 5 they will give you the codes. If not by then contact them.

Amazon uk has now updated cover to the new box art

Customers who pre-ordered one of above games will begin receiving instructions on how to redeem beta access codes from Friday, October 4. Please note however, Beta will be available in early 2014.
