1 RespuestaI always kinda thought Joe would be with Bungie forever. But people move on for different reasons, and I am sure it wasn't an easy choice, but one he thought best. Roughly a year ago Marcus Lehto and Joe Tung left Bungie as well to pursue new directions. Sometimes change is good for you. I am leaving my job of 10 years in the next couple weeks. But my circumstances are different, we are being laid off due to our work being moved out of the country. Still sad to see everyone go, as I am sure Joe is feeling to some degree. But I thank this change will be good for me to move one to something more that I want to do. Mainly focusing on getting into the game industry... Bungie's been my dream job for the last 11 years or so. Joe, I want to wish you the best of luck, and hope you get to feel refreshed and relaxed before you journey onto new things. You definitely deserve it!!! Thanks for all the hard work you put into these games, can't wait to see what Destiny has in store for us, and what you choose to do next.

One of the greatest minds in gaming, such a creative and crucial part of what made Bungie games so much better, and dammit Joseph, you will be missed. But here's to your bright future, and cheers for such an amazing ride!

What ever happened to Alex, I know he left a while ago, wonder what he's doin' these days.

AW, WHAT?! WHERE IS HE GOING?! I VOW TO BUY WHATEVER GAME HE WILL BE WORKING ON IN THE FUTURE! That is of course if my parents are awesome enough to let me get a game that isn't from my favourite sagas.

It always interesting to see were the workforce of these kind of beloved developers head of to and what they end up producing.

This really is kinda sad. Joe was probably my favorite person working for Bungie. Always full of enthusiasm and personality. I'll miss seeing him at E3, on VidDocs, and on the podcast. Good luck to you Joe. Hope things work out well for you.

I never would have guessed he'd leave..this is sadness. Not a terrible sadness, but it's like seeing an old friend move away.

Either way, I have a lot of respect for him. I had the privilege of interviewing him back in 2003 before Halo 2 was launched (see embedded video... and yes the audio isn't great... I was like 18 when I made it lol), and he is a genuinely kind and enthusiastic individual. God bless you and your future efforts, Joe!

How could Bungie let him go away... I wonder where he is going to stop now. He was, hands down, my favorite Bungie employee. I loved his attitude at panels and presentations. He´ll be missed in Bungie greatly.
