One game that everyone claims to be bad that I really liked as a kid was Shadow the Hedgehog. When I was younger I thought was awesome with vehicles, guns and sonic game elements, it seemed perfect. Now that I'm older and I played it again, I noticed how bad it could be sometimes.
What games have you played and really wanted to be good but ended up terrible?

1 RespuestaLego Star Wars III. The improvements they made were much needed and definitely helped, but the AI and vehicle controls were awful. It completely ruined the RTS mode they introduced.

1 RespuestaSS. Lol@kids who only play Halo screaming "Halo 4! -blam!- you 343!"

12 RespuestasSonic Heroes and beyond: What the -blam!- happened, Sega? Assassin's Creed Revelations: It's a rather dramatic drop in quality from AC2 and Brotherhood Dust 514: WHY Crackdown 2: It's a bit hard to fathom how they made it more repetitive when they were deliberately trying to make it less repetitive than its prequel.

6 RespuestasDishonored. Expected so much more! Great concept but terribly executed.

5 RespuestasHalo: Reach, the story was bland and voice acting terrible. And the multiplayer now looks like a horse with explosive diarrhea took a dump on it.

2 RespuestasMirror's Edge. The only time where a game's visuals kept me interested long after I was frustrated with the direction of the game mechanics. Clean white contrasted by sharp colors is my shit. I kept playing right up until I felt like I'd seen all of the environment then uninstalled it.

Hitman Absolution. Contracts mode was fun, until it got full of Gta style contracts. Story....needs some serious overhaul.

1 RespuestaEditado por Rex2: 9/22/2013 11:26:44 PMSection 8 and Brink are two that come to mind. Someone will inevitably say Halo 4, and it's not that I thought it was bad, but I was hoping it would have been exceptional.. but it just wasn't. **note: I never fooled myself into thinking the games I mentioned were good just to realize months later they were bad They were games I was hyped for, bought on day 1 and within a week, realized they weren't as good as i thought they would be.

Defiance: I really liked where they were going with this but ultimately it failed. ME3: not because of the ending just because it was completely linear with stupid side missions that weren't immersing at all
