I killed the Gwyn in Dark Souls...
[spoiler]Without parrying him last night![/spoiler] And i felt pretty accomplished by it! The fight was actually alot more fast paced than i expected, and i probably died like 50 times but at least i finally did it! Anybody else add special parameters to games to make it more enjoyable? (I.E not using something because it's OP or only using one gun because it's more challenging)

1 RespuestaI did that before on my level 10 run through. It's actually pretty easy if you spam black flame on him, he's stunlocked the whole fight.

3 RespuestasThe fight is a joke no matter what. Havels Armor, Havels Greatshield, Blackknight Greatsword, Havels Ring, Ring of Favor I -blam!-ed him up, no estus, no parry, NG+, easy fight. The music that plays during that fight is incredible

1 RespuestaI honestly never got why Gwyn is considered hard. I mean sure, he can -blam!- your arse if you're not careful, but overall I feel like he's one of the easier bosses (as were all of the final bosses sans Seath if only because he can curse your arse). Now O&S, Artorias, and Manus? That's a completely different story.

1 RespuestaI never knew how to parry until my New Game Plus. I beat him by tanking the shit out of him with full Havel. I just hacked away and he died right before me.

1 RespuestaIt's not "the" Gwyn. It's Lord Gwyn. I've only recently read up on the Lore of Dark Souls, and it's pretty wicked.
