Bows in Destiny!
Regarding all that we've seen, and through pure assumption, the Hunter will be a Rogue/Sniper/Assassin/Badass. And I see my imaginary Destiny Hunter character, wielding a badass Exotic [Legendary/Rare] Sniper.
But wouldn't a super space magic sci-fi bow be sick? But the bow as only an exotic weapon. One type of weapon, sort of like the "Longbow" legendary of BL2, but with more originality.
Also, by bow, I mean the classic two handed archer bow, not the one-handed crossbow.

It seems like the mechanics of a longbow would be too difficult to create in a Bungie shooter. A badass future-crossbow, however? That I can see. I would love to see the warlock use space majic to make a few arrows make of pure engergy form in mid air and be launched and controlled in mid flight.. Like a guided rocket.. Killing the player instantly.. If the hunter can insta-kill y can't the warlock.. Considering its armor is 80% cloth and the hunter has 50/50.. The warlock is easier to kill and thus needs powerful... And quick recharging majic in order to defend itself against the more heavy armored and equipped hunter and Titan..

2 RespuestasI think it would be cool to have bows for both hunters and warlocks but have the warlocks bow be some sort of phantasmic magic that the player conjures, like an ability and can use it for several magic arrows to pierce through an enemy, and have the hunters bow be an exotic weapon like you said. With many more like it, but yet still different and customizable.

I'd love to see a sci-fi bow in this game, along with sword and axes and such. Imagine a bow that shot lighting bolts or some kind of plasma. Sounds sick to me.

Considering crossbows are meant for killing animals big as bear it'll be OP unless if it were a space magic bow that shoots 3 low damage dealing bolts.

People keep saying "crysis 3" But gears of war had the torque bow long before crysis. Maybe if it was something cool like that, but a regular bow? Doesn't really fit the game.
