In your opinion, of course. Take everything into account. Feel free to share your all time favourite weapons etc. I'm actually quite fond of some of the new weapons introduced in Halo 4, but I'd enjoy them a lot more if they were used like they were in the trilogy games.

Editado por Haruspis: 8/13/2013 4:56:46 PMCE is the only right answer here, anybody who says Halo 3 has to be joking... It had so many redundant weapons that had no business being in the multiplayer sandbox, it kickstarted the decline of vehicle combat with the Spartan Laser/Missile Pod etc, and the BR was just the anti-everything gun that almost EVERYBODY complined about. The only weapon in CE that was overpowered was the pistol, but I can honestly say that absolutely none of them were out of place or in any way useless. The only other Halo game's multiplayer which comes close to promoting gunplay over gimmicks is Halo 4 (especially after the last balance update). But hey, nostalgia is going to be a pretty definitive factor here. Halo 3 cannot be smeared. Can't speak for ODST because there's no PvP, but it's easily what Halo 3 should have been. It removed a lot of redundant elements from Halo 3's sandbox and the emphasis on the silenced SMG/magnum was a vast improvement over the AR/BR dominance in Halo 3.

Probably CE. Incredible balance without any unnecessities like the Brute Plasma Rifle, Spiker, 4's fairly pedestrian Forerunner sandbox and Reach's unfair Covie/UNSC weapon balance. Although Reach had dat pistol.
-
I have to be honest here, Halo 4 was the only one that made it feel like all weapons were a valid option
-
1 RespuestaReach easily.
-
Halo 3. Halo Reach was pretty close though but the bloom made me hate the sandbox. Halo 4's sandbox was decent. All the new weapons were mostly ONE HIT KILL POWER WEAPONS...which we already had enough of.....they only added the one hit kill weapons to make Halo 4 seem cool and awesome! The weapons they didn't make power weapons were excellent though. Storm Rifle, SAW (Saw isn't always one hit kill on enemies), suppressor etc were awesome. Halo 3's sandbox was an improved version of Halo 2. I loved CE's sandbox though. Oh and I forgot. HALO 5 NEEDS TO BE AN ARENA SHOOTER! NOT LIKE HALO 4!

1 RespuestaBetween the extra grenades and dual wielding, Halo 3 definitely had more clunky elements in its sandbox. Reach had more interesting Covenant weapons than in other Halos, but they were neglected from a balance standpoint, and of course Reach had the DMR and Bloom, which felt inconsistant and really frustrating without actually balancing the DMR. Still voting Reach for the potential it had.

2 RespuestasI really enjoyed Halo 2 the most out of any game. H2 and H3 are very similar. I feel like there isn't as much love for H2 though since not many people played it as much as H3.

Halo 4.

Halo: Reach has the blue berry launcher.

Reach or halo 3

5 RespuestasEditado por Logfish111: 8/13/2013 11:40:36 AMHonestly it's Halo 4. There is a lot of them and most of them if not all are useful in some way depending on the player's style. All 4 precision weapons are well balanced, automatic weapons kill people at close range like they're supposed to, the only power weapons I don't find useful are the gravity hammer and the rail gun. You have to congratulate 343i on how well they balanced the weapons sandbox.
-
Halo Reach had that ultra-gay Plasma Launcher. I wouldn't have voted for Reach, but that weapon -blam!-ing pisses me off.
-
I'd probably go with Halo CE. Every weapon had a role, and there weren't any weapons that were just reskins with slightly different damage and RoF. Halo 4 would probably be up there, but a lot of weapons are too similar and are really just there for all the different factions to use in campaign.
-
1 RespuestaI'd say Halo 3, but then again I could just be blinded by nostalgia. I will admit there was an over saturation of full-auto weapons (SMGs, Plasma Rifles, Spikers, AR, Needlers) but I feel like people switched up what weapons they used more than other Halo games.
-
2 RespuestasCE had the most balanced weapons and cleanest sandbox. Every weapon had a purpose and every weapon was out classed by other weapons outside of it's range.
-
1 RespuestaHalo: CE had the best weapons. They felt powerful and they were all very useful. Halo 4 is the only other game that I can say had weapons that also felt powerful and somewhat useful. Though CE is still the best.
-
I'm not really sure, but it DEFINITELY is not Halo 3.
-
Halo 2.
-
4 RespuestasHalo reach. I miss the plasma launcher :(
-
8 RespuestasCE had the most balanced sandbox obviously, but my favorite would have to be ODST's. Dat automag, dat SMG, dat brute plasma rifle. I'd have said Reach were it not for Bloom... *shudders* Halo 4 BR is great though.
-
7 RespuestasDefinitely 4. My only complaint with the sandbox is the Binary Rifle, otherwise I think it is great. Obviously it had some issues with the DMR being the best early on, but now things seem like they're in a very good place.
-
7 RespuestasI'm going to go with Reach on this one. There was excellent balance between the AR, Magnum, and DMR. The power weapons and vehicle sandbox were varied. Overall, everything fit together well.
-
CE followed by Reach.
-
4. CE I always used AR/Pistol, replacing pistol with the Shotty, Sniper, and Rockets occasionally 2 I never played. 3 I just prayed for a BR every level. Reach was like Halo 1, but add a DMR.
-
Halo 4. Every weapon is useful and I don't mind using ones I don't normally use. After Halo CE the games had weapons that were pretty much useless. They were there just to be there. The Halo 2 and 3 pistol might as well not even be there for you when the person firing at you has the BR.
