360 to Ps4
I've stuck around when BUNGIE made the halo games and the legendary halo 3 is still one of my favorite games, I'm switching to Ps4 once it's released and I'm positive BUNGIE will make it worth it! It's tough letting go halo but 343i doesn't know where to take it from here. I'm sure a lot of people have similar thoughts.

8 RespuestasI agree with you PS4 is simply the best choice for the next gen unfortunately Halo is going to be ruined by 343 and there's no stopping that. Playstation doesn't have any mandatory kinetic too so that's good. Plus PS4 is 100 cheaper mainly because of the kinetic but atleast were not forced to buy the kinetic

Halo was pretty much the [b]only[/b] reason I even bought an Xbox. Now that 343 is running the franchise down the toilet though, I am making the full switch to Sony systems.

1 RespuestaI'll always have my 360/XBL, so jumping to PS4 isn't the end of the world. I live in a two console household. I've decided to skip out on the X1 because I don't imagine H5 will be enough to bring me back. I have a lot of "hang ups" with the current state of Halo that goes beyond gameplay and bleeds into other things. The current state of the Halo community, the direction/vision of 343i, Mircosoft's controlling hand, etc etc etc.

Just recently purchased a 360 slim so I'm going to get my money's worth out of it before switching over to a PS4. A lot of factors have to come together like the PSN network showing its worth the money. Originally the free model was a slam dunk for me but they switched over to pay to play. So now Sony and Microsoft are back to a even playing field for my wallet. Now it just comes down to do I want the Eye of Sauron in my front room or can PSN be a viable replacement for XBL? Game titles. Hardware and performance. Can I take my 360 Destiny characters and switch them over to PS4 on the backside thanks to Bungie. Those are the most daunting questions that will factor into my new Console purchase come 2014.

I'm tired of everyone hounding 343 about halo. 1. They have former Bungie employees (including Frank O'connor) 2. Halo 4 was they're first LEGIT game made from scratch. Anniversary doesn't count as it was a remake 3. Frank has realized his teams mistakes and is aiming to do better in the future 4. For they're first game I believe they did pretty DAMN good Now Im sorry because I forgot what I was going to say in the first place. Excuse my ranting, I just don't like hearing about 343 catching so much flak all the time

I sold my Xbox to GameStop because of their playcation deal. Normally it would be $100, but they gave me $200. That made me happy.

2 RespuestasOh what the hell I'll share what I'm doing too. I'm going from Xbox 360 to Playstation 4. Why? Here are my reasons, in order from most important to least: 1. My friends are getting it. 2. It is cheaper. 3. I have never owned a Playstation system before. 4. New exclusives to try out. 5. Destiny exclusive content (really its barely even a reason, but I guess it counts for something.) I might get an Xbox One later on down the road, depending on how things go.

I honestly think there is going to be such a small difference in the games that play on both it will not matter what you buy. Instead I'm moving to ps4 for the exclusives.

27 RespuestasI was actually going to switch from 360 to ps4 also...until I watched e3. I'm baffled by how many people sided with Sony after e3. They showed absolutely no new exciting IPs and heavily advertised TV and music as "We are giving gamers the TV and music gamers want." I had been completely positive I was getting a ps4 until I drug myself through the Sony conference just to see destiny. They showed the same old boring franchises that have been around since the ps2 days(the best console ever). And they made PSN required for online multiplayer! The only reason anyone I knew had the ps3 was for free online. After e3 I decided I was going to stick with the good o'l 360 for a while. But thanks to everyone on forums like these(and no one buying the Xbox one) every last restriction was taken off the console, and now iv heard about Microsoft dumping 3 billion dollars into their new servers, and many open world game developers are siding with the Xbox one. At this point, nether of the consoles seem very appealing to me, and probably won't be picking up either at launch.... But Xbox is starting to catch my eye again...

2 RespuestasReasons I'm going (currently) for the Xbox one: 1. I prefer the upcoming exclusives compared to the ps4. 2. The Kinect seems to be integrated well in a lot of games. 3. Already have XBL subscription and gamerscore. 4. Quite a few of my friends getting/staying with Xbox.

I'll still be loyal to halo, one of my favorite game series. 343 may have changed up the feel of it, but to me halo is halo. I'm in it for the story and fun times I have with my friends. They could make a game and name it halo: piece of -blam!-ing shit not worth your money. I would still buy it, because I love halo.

Me as well, I was on the 360 band wagon as well, but I believe that ps4 and sony/playstation is a much better company today.
