While I'm not a fan of the idea, I will admit that having two moms or two dads is a much better alternative to just one mom or dad. Not that I'm dissing one mom or dad families, they bend over backwards for a kid just as much as two parents do. I don't see a problem with it, however being the "I hate change" society person I am, I still don't want to discredit the traditional nuclear family. Anyone who says one type of family is better over another is biased, and that includes that Gay studies even though gay parenting is not wrong.
