I understand that probably most of you don't care about the the crisis in Egypt going on at this moment, but now America is getting involved and its not for the good.
How do you feel about this?

Why the barnacles do we have to play world police all the darn time? Can't we just mind out own damn business for once and sit this one out?
-
1 RespuestaWhy can't we just carpet bomb the middle east and north Africa?

Editado por Infiltrat0rN7: 7/4/2013 12:03:28 AM
400 U.S. troops
That's not a lot guys, we had more during the UN OP in Somalia but did we go into full scale war?
-
1 RespuestaEditado por Astranate: 7/3/2013 3:17:19 PMthe only realistic reason I can think as to why America is going there is because it has something to do with the Stargate keep looking up at the sky guys, it won't be long until we see Ha'tak motherships

Not gonna happen

4 RespuestasI find this all to hilarious, Morsi is, or rather was, supported by Obama. We sent Egypt millions in aid, not to mention weapons. We then called Egypt an ally all while the tyrant Morsi ran the place. Maybe Egypt would have been better under the last guy, just sayin.
-
Britain did that for 70 years look at how that turned out.
-
3 RespuestasIt's just like Americans to stick their noses in other peoples business. I'm all for aiding their country, but you really don't need more enemies right now. Unless this was a U.N decision.
-
1 RespuestaApparently, America during the second and especially the first world war were very keen to keep out of foreign affairs which didn't effect their nation. What a huge contrast that is to today's America.
-
America! -blam!- yeah!
-
Let's GTFO of Egypt and other countries and fix our OWN problems.. Oh wait.. That's too easy
-
2 RespuestasI've been following what's happening. Apparently the Egyptian army is going to intervene if a "peaceful" Proposition isn't met soon.
-
We've always had troops over there.
-
Given the situation there, I support this decision.
-
Do you know if any Copts were killed during the protest mark?
-
Imagine if another country had sent troops in during the days of civil protests by black americans (during their attempt to be allowed a vote within their own country). One of these days the world will foreclose on america's debt it is amassing to finance its wars. Now that will be funny.
-
They don't need to get involved. Egyptians started it, they can finish it.

5 Respuestas
but now America is getting involved and its not for the good.
When was it ever good?
-
"Egypt’s Armed Forces have acknowledged reports on the deployment of more than 400 U.S. troops to the Sinai, stating that the deployment is simply a rotation of US peacekeeping troops that had originally been stationed there in 1982." Not a big deal.

Editado por Mereel N7: 7/3/2013 1:23:30 PMOP, you need a applicable source. But I guess i'll explain this again. Any planned US military operations that would happen in Egypt would be to evacuate American citizens in the event that the country begins to fall apart. I believe preparing assets for such a situation has been standard procedure since the 1979 Tehran hostage crisis.

I should have figured out that if Obama said he was taking soldiers out of the Middle East, that just meant he was putting them somewhere else.
-
Is there ANY SINGLE FIGHT that the US WON'T get involved with? Relevant GIF is relevant.
-
"Our troops are coming home soon" yay! "And getting prepared to go back out Egypt" nuh
-
Yes! Off to go babysit the Middle East once again! *faceknife* *faceknife* *faceknife*

Maybe I'm just turning into a dove here, but is anyone else tired of sending our soldiers to countries that hate us?
