Why I'm still not buying Xbox One.

I want Microsoft to spy on me just to see what kind of technology they have that allows them to send data without being detected. And the countermeasures against hardware hackers. Those might be bigger advances in tech than whatever else they have.

I'm leaning more towards PS4. A couple of reasons, I just want to try something new this year, and its cheaper overall for me. I won't have to buy a new headset for it, and the system is $100 cheaper. I will more than likely get an Xbox One at some point for the next installment of Halo, but I'm thinking that will probably be out next holiday season, so I will have plenty of time to save and budget around getting the Xbox One then. Killzone, Knack, inFamous... they all look like good exclusives I'd like to try out. I will also hold on to my Xbox 360 for Titanfall and Project Spark. It's kinda like I'm getting the best of both worlds, not really sacrificing anything by going PS4.

The Kinect is probably one of the smallest issues with the XBone. Yeah, it could be used to watch you. I've currently got a webcam and a phone with two cameras pointed directly at me, both hooked up to the internet. Why is the Kinect's camera a big deal, especially considering you can now turn it off and disconnect from the internet? There's plenty of other reasons to dislike the Kinect, MS, and the XBone. The fact that it has a camera shouldnt be one of them.

I don't really care if it had to always be on, I think Kinect is a stupid -blam!-ing gimmick anyway and all these Xbots are doing what they usually do where they think this time it'll be different.
