Am i the only one excited about currency?
The simple fact that we have a currency system is enough to make me want this game. BUNGIE making a game that lets you have loot and currency. Ive been waiting for this.
Ill call them ling-lings

2 RespuestasNot enough people will get that joke. Due to the fantasy and mythical elements in Destiny I think that the currency system could actually be called Gold. When it was a fantasy game they used gold coins but now it is Sci-Fi too. It seems like a logical and creative thing to do.

It would really seal the deal if they had Pazaak-style games between Guardians in the Last City, with no limit to what you could put on the table.

I'm still excited but I'm surprised many on the forum were unaware of the interview I hope there is gambling in game like slots. I lost a lot of my life to the slot machines in Borderlands 2.

I am pretty excited about this. I think it will be a bit like Borderlands where you go adventuring and find awesome guns and gather a little money, then go back home (the Last City in Destiny's case) and show all your friends your treasures.

1 RespuestaActually, this is one of the things I'm looking forward to most. I like the whole kill and spill for the loot. Then being able to go home and spend it all. I like in Ratchet and Clank( I PLAY ALL GAMES DON'T YOU JUDGE ME) where you unlock better weapons and more manufactures as you get richer

I agree that ling-ling should be the slang for moneyz. I hope they have a two-currency system, one that is based off precious metals (used to buy ammo, ship upgrades, crafting supplies) and another based off experience points or 'blue cubes.' (used to buy powerful gear, special ammo, and pets)
