They have lyricists and producers doing that for them. They're just vocal talent (a word used loosely in some cases). So really, what's the difference between them paying a producer to make them music and them paying the owner of the song to take their music? The results are the same: Some people like it and some people hate it. So why does it matter who made the music if the 'artists' aren't making it themselves?
