Should I just wait until I own the upcoming consoles? Should I just order it now? What did you do?

Editado por Seggi: 3/1/2013 3:21:13 PMI'd wait until you know what platform you're going to get it on. Pre-ordering doesn't really do anything.
-
I'd say wait a little longer just to get all the official next gen console info together, along with release dates for Destiny and then go from there. I'm likely to buy the first Destiny on the 360 seeing as thats what I own, but will then look into a next gen copy - depending on which console I'd end up going with.
-
I would wait to pre-order. Way too early to do so, at this point.
-
Wait for the 720 to be announced! If you are going to play the game you had mind as well get it on a console that will fully be able to exploit the features and beauty of the game.
-
I'd wait for a release date for the next gen consoles and game first.
-
Destiny Xbox 720 (or what ever name) console bundle, anyone?
-
The poster sounds like it could be cool if you are into that, if you aren't then you might as well wait. The stores will probably have plenty of copies anyways, or at least that has been my experience with their previous games.
-
I'd just do it. If anything, it's $5 for an awesome massive poster.
-
I am kind of in the same boat. Never owned a PlayStation besides the first one (I missed out on Kingdom Hearts so much). Thinking of getting a PS4 for it or waiting until PC release. I need to see if anything else is being given for pre-order.
-
No reason to order it now when you could order later. I always wait until the last second...
-
I would, I'm actually just trying to decide which store to pre-order it from first. Not really worried about pre-order stuff because I'm sure that most retailers will have something different. Excited about the game!
-
I'm not going to order it yet. I'm going to wait to see if they offer extra in-game content. I like posters and all, but I'd rather get something in game.

I'm trying to switch my gaming platform to mostly PC, so I'm going to wait until we have more information.

4 RespuestasEditado por Arbiter 739: 2/28/2013 11:50:22 PMI generally don't recommend pre-ordering unless you trust the company itself. If you are concerned about the new consoles, here is some relevant information: -Destiny will be available on launch for the PS4 version. -No Xbox 720 version has been announced. [s]-PC version will launch a year after the console version.[/s] -Xbox 360 and PS3 versions can be pre-ordered now. You can get a poster. -It's highly unlikely that the first installment of Destiny will have a "Special Edition".
-
I Pre-ordered it for the sweet poster. Looking at bungie's track record though, I totally excited to for anything that comes from this studio.
-
Editado por hellaplus: 2/28/2013 5:47:45 PMI'm excited to learn more about the game, but I'd never pre-order this early. We still don't know very much, and I'd like to see what happens after Microsoft shows their new console first.

4 Respuestas*takes off sunglasses* I, Activision vi Blizzard, command you to pre-order!
-
meh, I'm going to wait for a firm release date on the 360 version. That whole "New Years Eve Release" thing just don't feel right.
-
1 Respuestai have done nothing because we have next to no information on it. even then i usually wait till as late as possible. if it's something that i'm not sure about, i always wait until reviews are out. it's saved me from getting burned multiple times. why do people put down money on a game they know hardly anything about?
-
6 RespuestasUnfortunately for Xbox lovers, PS4 will be the console for the Destiny series as Activision has that exclusivity deal with Sony which will probably mean more content and early access to new features.
-
I went to Gamestop and pre-ordered it and just put down $5.
-
I pre-ordered it but at the minimum of 5 dollars. I'll be moving in the middle of the year anyway.
-
Well uhh, consoles aside, i would suggest waiting to preorder, because as much as i love and trust bungie, we really don't have a lot to go off of right now.
-
I would say wait, that's what I am doing because I want to see more of what the game will be like and for more info on the next consoles.
-
I would suggest... wait until we know more about the new consoles and destiny. Unless you love your 360 and you know destiny will be great but I would say wait.
