Yes, they didn't have much to show. No doubt they are hyping it up. Just don't believe a word of it, and you'll probably like the game. I know I knew nothing of Destiny before today's reveal and was satisfied with the knowledge I've attained.
But yeah, I don't think Destiny will really take off until Destiny 2.
