As part of our continuing mission to bombard the Bungie.next Beta with your better salvos of feedback, we’ve deployed another update. If you take a deep inhale, you can smell the fresh code. It smells like… victory. In keeping with our pledge to keep you slightly briefed on our grand conspiracy to reinvent your home in our domain, a list of the more apparent changes are found below.
First, some highlights for this new version. Here are the fixes we think you’ll be most excited about…
Throw your voice into a specific Forum Category. We’ve added some structure to the party, thus preserving the unique discussion parlors that you’ve come to know and love. Forum Categories are exclusive buckets of conversation – so you’ll only be able to pick one. They can be selected from a dropdown menu as you draft a Topic. Yes, there’s a reservoir for The Flood. You still have the ability to apply tags to each post, but you won’t be able to use the official tags that drive the Categories.
Please Note: Older topics will still straddle multiple categories. New ones won't.
We’re dark (again) bro. One or two of you may have mentioned that they missed the smoky aesthetic of the old and busted Bungie.net. We can’t imagine why, but we love you way too much to let such polite feedback float away on the breeze. To turn out your respective lights, visit the Display options on the Settings page under your profile. That should hold you over until the end of the beta.
Please Note: You may find holes in the new dark theme. Keep Calm and Report to #Feedback.
If you crave every last detail, here’s the rest of the changes (some large, some small):
-you can now filter the Activity feed by the people you’re following
-the Social feed on the front page displays the entire entry
-the autocomplete no longer returns duplicate users
-email addresses are now a hidden value on your profile page
-when you sign out of your account on the profile page, it goes away
-links on the careers page have been fixed
-fixed the display for all time latest topics
-the navigation bar for the mobile view scrolls when zoomed in
-Ninjas can edit replies to official posts
-a new menu for Display Options is available in Settings
-the reply button now appears when you access a forum reply via permalink
-issues with capitalized file extensions for embedded have been fixed
-the FORUMS link at the top of the display leads to the Categories menu
-forum titles are now active links that refresh the Topic index
That’s all for now, and that’s enough. This was not the first to update to Bungie.next. It won’t be the last. We’re still tinkering with the controls on the bridge, and there are still items on your wish list that are being made real. Some fixes just take longer than others.
Keep the chatter coming. Let us know how the new changes impact your experience.

It took me a whole month to realize this thread was necrobumped... Dark theme RIP.
-
Deej you owe us some sort of special gift for Christmas and you don't give us anything ever! Next week for your lack of xur he should sell the g horn updated or the original it does not matter witch one its just bowl crap that you never have him sell that but you will have him sell the same gear weeks on end! Huge disappointment!! In the game! And still no more of light engram for 2 weeks now! Like what's going on? What a crapy day after Christmas xur!

Smells like victory

-
Or are you just going to kick people off the forums for telling the truth vs you lying to us in our face. I hate liars.
-
Why won't you listen to us DeeJ so many problems in this game and many feedback from players and yet you won't listen to not one. Why? Why you being so selfish and self centred?

Editado por S034: 11/22/2014 7:42:34 AMEDIT: Never mind. Didn't realize this thread was an ancient bump.

3 Respuestas1. Bigger Avatars 2. Title bars. 3. Custom avatars 4. The background is so plain.
-
5 RespuestasOrignal Off topic layout please or give us the option to go Back in time
-
Swiggity swoogity?
-
6 RespuestasActually create an imaginary currency you can send to others, and then people can buy stuff from it. Created based on posting.

Bumpity bump bump.

Whoever bumped this needs to die.

2 RespuestasSo how much longer until you guys give us page numbers for the forums, separate pages in threads, and a chronological post order?
-
Editado por A 3 Legged Goat: 1/31/2013 3:21:33 AMUI just improved :) Public notice for groups was a good addition too. There was a brief moment where I wasn't able to post but I'm back now
-
The "Public" indicator within groups was much needed, and considering the groups are really just forums now, reducing the time it takes to get there to just one click was a pleasant surprise. Keep em coming.
-
Subtle updates going down. I like the direct links to group forums from that menu and the top menu bar now stays with you when you scroll down a page.
-
2 RespuestasDid a new update just go live? The site just changed on me, and now group threads say when they are public (which is great)
-
BUNGIE. Please, make sign-ins for the old site online again for a day. Please, just one day. There is a forge map on the Halo Bungie.net, that is locked from me because I can't sign in. Please, I know you don't own Halo anymore, but do something? Or at least tell me what I can do?

Editado por Ahhsenberg: 1/28/2013 6:38:51 PMWhile it's not all that big of a deal, I would like it if our aliases listed our original username instead of an obnoxious list of changes.
-
Seven things Bungie.net still needs: 1. Title Bars. 2. Forums for each of the Halo games, and other games. 3. I don't want these new rights. Let mods ban people again. 4. Bigger avatars. 5. Bungies get gold text, ninjas get orange text. 6. First comment should be first. Latest comment latest. 7. I want my yummm background! (elite sucking on the head of a marine with a rocket launcher)

1 RespuestaMight I make a suggestion? When I'm in a thread in a forum (Say, I'm in a random thread in the Off Topic forum), I would like to have the Forums Button take me back to the forum I was just in, and not to the page that shows the list of forums. Just something small.
