I did not receive the whisper of the worm
Can someone please help. I completed the exotic mission the whisper. after completing it said it gave me the gun but could not find it on my loadout or inventory. i have completed the mission with all my characters it shows the quest for the next missions for the gun. Anyone have any idea how to obtain this sniper?

Hello there, Thank you for reaching out. A few things to try: Finish the Eris step (if it’s still in your quest log) The weapon comes from turning in the pursuit with Eris on the Moon, not directly from the mission chest. Make sure you’ve completed the step that says something like “Return to Eris” after finishing The Whisper and actually picked up the reward from her. Check Collections (this is the big one) Go to Collections → Weapons → Sniper Rifles / Exotics (or Heavy Exotics, depending on your UI). Look for Whisper of the Worm there and reacquire it. The fact that you’re seeing the follow-up quests for the gun strongly implies the game has flagged you as owning Whisper, so it should be in Collections even if the original drop was missed or dismantled. Check all storage spots All characters’ weapon slots (including on characters you don’t usually play). Your Vault. Your Postmaster in the Tower (if your inventory was full when the game tried to give you the weapon, it may have been sent there).

1 RespuestaCan you check your quests to see if you still have the 'Whispers of the Past' quest? The final step of that quest is to return to Eris Morn. If you don't have it, check the abandoned quest kiosk and Eris's inventory to see if it was accidentally abandoned from your quest log.

Go check Eris on the moon. She might have it.

If you've obtained it on any character it should be unlocked in the collections tab of your character screen under "Exotic". If not, try running the mission from legends in the world tab on normal difficulty. I have had issues claiming exotics from portal exotic missions in the past.
