Malfeasance, what’s your opinion?
I haven’t finished the quest to get it and I’m wondering it is worth it. Gambit kinda hit a low since the portal launched and I’m finding it difficult to complete it. I want your opinion on the gun and if it’s without it not

Good luck. The Gambit invasion step is a pig. It’s well worth it, although primary damage feels weak at the moment. Used to melt unstoppables but not so much now. Takes too many shots to stun one for my liking.

Yeah it’s an all around classic exotic weapon that’s been around for ages, but it’s one of those guns that actually feel exotic. The more people using malfeasance, the better you all can perform due to the explosive ammo synergy.

I rarely use it, but I believe I used it in crucible while getting the catalyst and remember it was pretty good. It's probably something you want to get if possible.

3 RespuestasMalfeasance with its catalyst is my favorite PvE exotic ever because of its consistency and effectiveness across the game especially as the most underrated champion killer primary. Sure, most think it’s just for unstoppables. No, that’s where you’re wrong you stun any champ and then hammer them with that beast and it will show them what you’re really worth and rip them apart man. Listen, if you want it work with me and I’ll help carry you through the quest but you gotta friend request me and please talk with me in discord, you don’t gotta join my clan or anything but you want a gambit main to help you with this if you’re gonna struggle with it which you will. Every malfeasance player had to push to get theirs, and I’ll help carry your load to make it happen if you’re down bro👍🏻

Because the match game modifier on that mission is special tuned one of a kind difficulty for that mission ([i]a far worse match game modifier than the tuned one for the mission for Outbreak Perfected and even that one is bad due to shanks having elemental shields yknow[/i]) you'll have a hard time breaking shields w/ kinetic so don't try just use solar/void/arc ok, also the enemy hp and dmg and dmg resist is tuned for that mission to be absurdly high, at the end don't melt boss, deal w/ [b]WIZARDS[/b] asap pronto otherwise you'll get overun by mobs + shot by Wizards while getting tethered by the boss. Trust. • Word of advice 2, when using Malfeasance play with autofire on in game settings, because you'll hate the way the guns fire rate / fire animation feels, it's something super odd that is only on that gun that bungie never bothered fixing/changing, it has the firing animation of a hard hitter yet has an rpm that's faster than the gun animation and.. I think theres a tiny small delay between the trigger pull and the gun firing? Idk Also hipfire it, don't ADS, the weird recoil + firing rate (point above) makes it not fun unless you shoot it timed like a slower rpm HC to avoid the weird delay, bungie just needs to reduce it's rpm and it would fix that

2 RespuestasPvp not really worth. But Pve now that's were i would use it the most. Even better if the enemy is taken. If Bungie doesn't give us a good unstoppable weapon like this season with bows. Malfeasance is a good choice for a primary

Tough quest but amazing weapon. I got stuck on the variant strike on my alt, but main got it way back when, before that quest got.. easier 😆

Good For shoving roaming supers in a locker (with the vorpal catalyst). 5 body shots and bye bye.

It's the only HC my buddy uses and he hates HC... It's easy to use and doesn't require a try hard level of precision to be effective and the explosions ignore range and shreds objects like threshers...

Worth it for sure as it’s one of the best weapons for unstoppable champions. One of my favorite hand cannons in the game and one of the best exotic quests,

I think it's a beast, however I'm not too sure of its viability in today's sandbox (which may change in the future). All in all it is a fantastic workhorse gun.

It's only considered worth using in the only build it works in (Lucky Pants) in two scenarios: you're fighting a Taken boss or someone on your team has tagged the target with Witherhoard (this causes Malfeasance to treat the target like it's Taken). This is because the gun deals bonus damage to Taken targets. In literally every other case, the weapon is outperformed by specific Legendary HCs for the same build, and this compounds by letting you run any other Exotic weapon you want that fits the playstyle LP demands. In the Crucible, it's simply "okay." It will generally underperform in normal scenarios but getting to 5-tap everyone for free, regardless of range, can be helpful sometimes and having a Primary option to fight roaming Supers with isn't something to turn a nose up at. It's just not going to matter that much.

So good ! The quest which I did the first weeks of release and it’s my favourite handcannon ….with the catalyst it’s has 20 ammo. Also looks great …the original skin .

1 RespuestaWorth the effort to get it. Intrinsic stun against unstoppable champions. It has great range and versatility. Also does decent damage against Boss level enemies. I rarely use hand cannons; Malfeasance is in most of my PvE builds. But that's all just my opinion.

Definitely worth it. I used it during FoTL, with lucky pants and 200 weapons stats and it melts Boss faster than a heavy MG. It sits in the Praxic spot so it’s not seeing much use now but it’s good and it feels great to use, very stable.

It’s a very good gun. Primaries are pretty weak in tougher content atm but certain exotic primaries like malfeasance still do ok due to it cooking taken enemies. Landing 5 hits on an enemy guardian is basically a guaranteed kill in PvP or gambit as well.
