I just got into this game and I love most everything about it. I was a Halo fan originally and looking forward to the remake. Destiny 2 is one of the best gaming experiences I have had in a long time. I applaud the work that has been put into this universe. I am blown away by the visuals and the overall experience. The amount of options is almost overwhelming but awesome at the same time. I am looking forward to sinking more time into this and exploring all the content the Destiny universe has to offer. Will likely check out Marathon as well.

3 RespuestasIf this post is real… You have paid for a game that is already on life support. If you have been paid to post, cash your check quickly. And if by a remote chance your post is genuine then I would strongly suggest not wasting a dime on any Bungie products in the future as they do not respect their player base, in time, content or quality..

2 RespuestasSound like fake to me.

There used to be a lot more Destiny 2, but it was removed against our will and sits on an archived server somewhere.

1 RespuestaThats great you like. But under no circumstances do you ever and i mean ever enter pvp. Its a can you don't want to open, impossible to close and you will just end up despising all of Bungie.

Easily top 10 best games of all time. Dont let these people who treat it like a job bring you down (id say second job but i know most of these clowns are unemployed).

3 RespuestasOnly thing you've mentioned that's actually positive is the gameplay. That's it. Everything else you've mentioned has either been outdone by other games, or is to be expected from most games at this point. It's fine if you're enjoying your time with the game at the moment. But I can promise you, you only feel that way because it's something new to you. Give it a month and you'll quickly realize just how shallow and repetitive this game can be.

1 RespuestaI would highly recommend that you stay away from the game, before you get to attached. This game is pretty much abandoned, and when it gets any attention, it is only for the worse. Pvp mode has been completely abandoned, pve is a garbage fire, weapons are nothing more than visuals and the "end game" is almost impossible to get into due to how many people that have left. I mean apart from the enjoyment of the activity, the rewards is well not that. Dlc's are over priced. The content that you do get is just a reskin of a previous activity.

1 Respuesta“I will probably check out marathon as well”……how much they paying you and what is the health care?

7 RespuestasHow much glimmer did they pay you for this lie?

Editado por mixitup1: 1/25/2026 3:07:54 PMGive it a few months , then after playing this, write another feedback lol.

Just don't try PVP, it's the worst it has ever been

5 RespuestasEveryone at Bungie needs to step on a Lego. That being said..... It's cool you're enjoying what little the game has to offer nowadays. It's clear you're happy with the money you spent in, which is all that matters.

1 RespuestaI swear I've seen this post, word for word, weeks ago. Same thread title, too. Methinks this is not a genuine post.

This is starting to read like a Bungie plant post 👀 “Just got into the game” but already applauding the universe, the visuals, the overall experience? Meanwhile most new players have absolutely no clue what they’re doing half the time—just vibing, shooting aliens, and hoping the quest tracker knows more than they do. Then the casual Marathon mention at the end like it wasn’t slipped in by marketing. Very subtle. Very natural. Totally not scripted. Jokes aside… welcome, Guardian. The confusion is part of the onboarding.

1 RespuestaSounds like me several years ago.. These days I'm more upset by the wasted potential of this game.

As long as someone is having fun.

2 RespuestasTotally agree been playing a long time, tried other games but NONE does the job of gun play that Destiny 2. Does. There are things I love and don’t like about destiny. Since I’m a gun play type of player the past couple of season more of a super and abilities type of meta, But still find enough things to do that I enjoy doing. Most of the negative stuff u see on here are just Trolls Just my belief , but could be wrong. Bungie gets swayed the wrong way from the core of this game by those Trolls. Glad you are enjoying this game 👍

Game is fanstastic if you're able to get past the terrible onboarding system. Glad you're enjoying your time.

Still a good game. Lowest player volume I have seen tho

Destiny was sublime at stages of the game ….i got a decade out one game which is rare . D2 it on a slow crawl now . March will hit and marathon will take over ….will hit the right mark who knows 🤷🏼♂️

It’s interesting to see a fresh perspective on here. Usually the comments from/about new players are how daunting and confusing everything is. The more you play, the more issues you may find you uncover, but the good definitely outweighs the bad, IMO. There’s a lot to enjoy and I’ve never found another game that has what Destiny has. Keep your eyes peeled for the Marathon “open preview weekend” coming soon (dates TBC).

I'm happy you are enjoying the game. It is nice to see some positivity in the forums. Usually it's all gripes and complaints, with my fair share of them.

If you're considering sticking around and purchasing DLCs, I'd like to highlight the 30th Anniversary Pack. It's got a Dungeon that rewards what was the best exotic from D1, and the dungeon itself is a lot of fun. It also features a gameshow-like activity hosted by tentacle-faced Xûr. The rewards from this activity include a set of weapons inspired by older Bungie IPs, like the Battle Rifle and Focus Rifle from the Halos. There's also a quest that eventually awards an exotic that's just the Halo CE magnum. I do want to warn, though, that gameshow activity is a 6-player mode, and I can't guarantee there's folks in the matchmaking pool for it.

The game you have jumped into was built over several years. Not counting all of it they removed to sell back later. As of the last couple of years that building process has stopped. Enjoy what there is but don't count on a lot more being added unless things majorly change. Also if you are really looking towards Marathon play before you buy which is always the way people should approach a game and don't listen to those saying stay out of crucible because that pvp experience will translate well to the new title. Good luck guardian
