Bungie just needs to reduce ALL ability potency and uptime like they had it back during checkmate. Checkmate was hands down the most consistent fun I have had in D2 pvp. Every class has a flavor of bs and ohk ability these days or a way to just completely disengage from any mistake on the user's positioning or losing an active gunfight. If people want harder hitting abilities or more uptime they should have to run an exotic setup specifically for that, at the cost of not being able to use nuetral game exotics like speed boots. Also, get rid of special ammo off of walls, so people aren't just camping around hoarding special for an entire match. People shouldn't be going entire matches getting kills with just abilities and special with no downsides. Also have special ammo meter progress load ammo straight into the mag or reserves again - unless someone can prove that having the ammo drop on the ground and need to be fetched is healthier balance wise.

  • I agree. Ability spam has been extreme lately. I’ve played games where two+ warlocks were spamming those new area nades nonstop… oof. Titans building into OHK shoulder charge abilities and then the ever toxic invis hunter BS. I’d be so happy if Bungie just had a no-ability or heavily reduced ability game mode.
