They're too quick for the slimes to catch, that's for sure. The slimes seem to be pack hunting the others. A few seem to be herding the prey towards some ambushers lying in wait. I've never seen the behaviour before with slimes. Have you?" Purplespider pulls a piece of oddly scribed metal out of her pocket. She taps briefly on its surface. "There. Order's sent to the kitchen. There's a possibility that there is a kind of community being formed after living in close proximity, growing and learning... After all they were technically newborns when you received them with not much to go on outside of the imparted Will through the summoner keys... Remote messing with rune inscribed objects are not very common... I've used signal Stones and pairs of enchanted scrolls for guild work... Do they use command words or do you still have to physically write on the shard like a scroll...

"I don't understand too much about the technical side of how this has been put together. They could have set up for either written or a tap type of interface. We went with tap for now. They set up several basic pizza orders for single tap access. A tap and hold allows access to an expanded set of runes that overlay the others to customize the base we started with. A tap, hold, and swipe bring up the alphabetic runes to really add detail. There's a holograph wall in the kitchen for the dragons to see the orders. Obviously, this particular set is unique to us. I believe the intended use for the technology is for long-distance communication. What do you think?"
