I know this is a long shot because BattlEye is the anti-cheat system, but I've been getting a lot of Plums tonight.
I'm legitimately confused and frustrated. Obviously since I dare to ask here, I know I have not installed any cheat. I keep restarting my computer. Usually it helps, but tonight I've gotten the error 3 times in a row.
Can you help me debug what is triggering BattlEye, so that I can remove it from my system?
(I'd hate to lose 3500h of progression because of a problem outside my control)

Editado por Crisidelm: 12/23/2025 9:56:56 AMQuery Timeout means BattlEye can't establish a (stable) connection with its own server (to check for updates. Other problems may be connected to having other anticheat software (services) running

Editado por AceJohnny: 12/23/2025 4:38:50 AMOf course, the BattlEye FAQ was no help for the "Query Failed" errors I was getting. For others searching for a solution: I have done a few fixes, and the issue hasn't immediately reoccurred. The issue was intermittent anyhow, so it's not certain that what I did was the causal solution, but FWIW: 1. Uninstall and reinstall D2 Battleye Go the Destiny's installation folder (Steam -> Library -> Destiny right-click -> Manage -> Browse Local Files, surely something equivalent in Epic), then the "battleye" folder therein run "Uninstall_BattlEye.bat" then "Install_BattlEye.bat" 2. Add various BEService executables to the Windows Defender Firewall (Windows 10) These instructions apply to Windows 10; probably there's an equivalent for Win11. Win key then type "Firewall" to search for the "Windows Defender Firewall" Control Panel, or alternatively Settings -> Network & Internet -> Windows Firewall (small at the bottom of the window, between "View hardware and connection properties" and "Network reset") -> "Allow an app through firewall". Unlock as Administrator, then "Allow another app" and browse to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye" and select "BEService_d2.exe". Do it again to select "BEService.exe" 3. Sacrifice a chicken I dunno, maybe it'll help? (Not The Colonel obviously)
