Anti-barrier needs a massive buff.
Wish-ender can just barely break barriers in time before they just drop the barrier anyway.
Legendary HCs have no chance.
The only good option to break shields with is either the DLC sniper, or Praxic Blades. Who would’ve thought.

I'm pretty sure they chose HC for barrier specifically for the new heat sink special ammo HC. As a matter of fact, all the champ mods (except the bow) coincide with the heat sink weapons, hmmm.... Anti-barrier should be one shot to stun just like the other anti-champ mods. Also, revert the Wishender bug.

That's 100% on purpose to get you to use that over your current load out. I hate when they do this sh!t, being forced to play it how they want instead of how we want is why the game is in such a bad state to begin with. They never learn anything from past mistakes, give em a chance and they pull the same stupid mistakes over and over again.

I’m assuming the “new” grandmaster exodus crash prompted this. Somehow we have done this weird full circle thing. Originally many exotics were underpowered in GM level content. So, Bungie buffed them specifically to handle things such as barrier champs. Erianas vow is a perfect example, it was buffed to 1 shot a barriers shield as long as its exotic perk was still active. Now that gms are “back” at a -50 power delta, many things that were tuned specifically for the GM difficulty level just feel awful.

1 RespuestaI did the Exodus Crash "gm" yesterday and was appalled (dramatic pause) and how garbage both Wishender and Revision Zero were for breaking. And its not really a strike for the Lightsaber imo. Honestly, my best loadout was Arrbalest (still 1 shots) with Horror's Least and Submersion.

1 RespuestaThe Wishender thing is a shame, If they removed its ability to one tap barrier its useless. Also for No Land Beyond and Praxic blade let’s not forget Special weapon have a buff this week, it might also be a mess next week when the buff is removed.

2 RespuestasYeah the anti barrier champ for primary weapons in vanguard alerts Gms is so bad. Plus you start with barely any sniper bullets so you have to land your shots.

If you're running Techsec armor I would highly recommend Malediction legendary handcannon. I know it's all older gun with the Wild Card origin trait but it takes 2 shots to break barrier shields and it's kinetic.

I'll put a few examples and see if anyone else has had the same experiences. 1) How many times have you thrown a grenade, shot a rocket, or cast a power mellee at a minotaur, only to see him disappear the second you do it, or it goes between his legs? 2) How many times has it taken you a full round to stop an unstoppable, and see him unstunned as you are reloading? 3) Similarly, how many times has the same thing happened to a barrier champ, and watch him regain full health as you are reloading? 4) And my biggest hate, when using a Warlock, how many times have you stepped off a platform but the double jump hasn't worked? These might seem trivial to some, but it usually results in me losing a life, and when revives are as rare as unicorn sh!t now, it means starting again or from a previous checkpoint. It happens more than occasionally now, so I think it's part of the game program to further frustrate players. The champion problems could easily be fixed by making the weapons we are MADE to use do their jobs properly, and actually work long enough to finish champions off. As for the jumping problem? Well Bungies favourite little playthings, the Hunters, have the clever knack of being able to recover with their jumps, even if they fall off a platform, while the poor Warlocks and Titans plummet to their doom.....and they're the ones who supposedly have the space magic.

25 RespuestasRun Revision Zero if you’re looking for an option at range. It’s brilliant for barrier champs and is a primary. The sniper mode is also very strong.

Revision Zero is pretty good since its an intrinsic trait. It's stable and has good range too.

Erinana's works well, aggressive frame snipers are my fav atm, something like succession works really well or the praxic blade but yeh i tried some of the normal hc's and they felt horrible against them during the gm

Its not just wish ender. It been limited to 1 type. All other seasons were auto/subs. Pulse/scout. Now it just hand cannon. And submachine Forcing us. So not really bothered now.

They been terrible for a while tbh... In general if it's not exotic or sword it's a GOOD LUCK on GM content unless u wipe CHAMPS right away... It's really bad... No one will miss them if they remove them. For example GM can have 3-4 Goblins Champs snipping you... Add Overlord and Giant ball Champ in its an endless loop.. I can only suggest to Use Polatis, Arbalest or Eriana. I do not recommend Revision Zero as Champs will Spam shields faster than you can build the charges.
