The lack of a new patrol zone saddens me. :(

2 RespuestasWith the continuing focus on the Portal, I was not shocked at all about this. Public Patrol has become an activity simply running on auto pilot at old destinations with nothing really new to the mix. Hasn’t been a new public patrol destination since Neomuna. And I rarely ever go back there. Sure makes it easy for me to not buy anything new in this game as long as they neglect parts of the game I have enjoyed since D1. Patrol areas were something that you could do for an hour or two and just chill. The addition of randoms in a patrol space added variety to each patrol instance and made the game feel alive. It just isn’t the same game anymore. Maybe changes are coming in the next year, but it might be too late. I never found patrol as boring as repeating the same Portal activities over and over and over.

5 RespuestasWell they’re putting all their resources into the Portal. Sucks no patrol zones indeed.

1 RespuestaMMORPG are meant to have common areas for players to hang out. That is the biggest failure for this group of managers. This is not a sprite game, this is not a generic FPS, this is not a mobile game. This was sold as an FPS RPG. Even if it means retrofitting the latest world locations they need to correct this oversight. This is also why I hate Portal since it takes community and choice out of the players hand.

Editado por BackdoorBacon: 11/26/2025 3:39:18 PMIt’s sad to see this game turn into just another menu shooter, it used to feel so alive.

If it’s like pale heart then yeah, I couldn’t believe it when that came out and there was no one there, thought I had internet issues lol. Just seams more empty when there are no other players, plus that’s probably how some of us made new friends in d2.

2 RespuestasEvery expansion we lose something else. PvP maps then strikes then lost sectors now the entire planet

1 RespuestaIt’s nice to have places where there’s no one to interfere with you.

1 RespuestaSony: Hey Bungie, what you got there? Bungie: An Looter/Shooter/MMO with RPG elements. Sony: Sounds fun. What you doin with it? Bungie: Well we are changing abilities so that they will act as primary weapons which will make both looting and shooting unnecessary, and we're removing all social aspects of the game in favor of a mobile game, single player feel, and of course we removed most of the story that would explain why any of these characters matter in the first place. Sony: WHAT!? Is all that true? Bungie: We'll mostly. For legal purposes we don't say we "removed" the story. It's just in a vault....and we can't access it... Sony: So what are you selling at this point? Bungie: 🎆STAR WARS!!🎆

Jet Set WillyIt’s all going concording to plan 😂🤣 - antiguos
Me too. 🙁 -
Hoping they make the new activity menagerie levels of good, as it seems to be the main focal point of Renegades.
-
Adding it would have made so many players happy though...
The lack of a new patrol zone saddens me. :(
Same.

Not even a new destination for $40 DLC? They keep underdelivering on each DLC
-
They could have at least said whether or not Venus would be coming back as a Zone. We've already got VoG in the game, and now we'll be getting whatever they showed us added as an area.

And public events

2 RespuestasIf it is true that there is no actual patrol zones in Renegades then it will really suck especially with the Star wars themed look for Mars. One thing I usually look forward to with new expansions is new patrol zones to roam around in.
-
Sadly we are not getting a new 1. I don’t think they can handle the task of making them anymore. Since TFS n EoF they made the destinations party only zones. Which imo sucks. So im kinda glad they skipped making a destination if that’s what they would probably do again. I am hype that they’re not putting a pay wall on how we do colors for our Praxic blades or tying it into shaders.
