I read a lot on here about players at 300, 400 etc, and all I can say is that I admire your stamina! I’m crawling along, trying this modifier then that, sometimes getting a B but then a C+ despite nothing changing, and then getting an A and scratching my head trying to work out how that worked… but it didn’t last time. And choosing the modifiers feels like some sort of test, and one I’d rather not sit. I’m sorry Bungie, but this actually feels like work, like a job, not a hobby where I can relieve the days stresses by simply logging on and blasting aliens and feeling rewarded for my efforts. You’ve made me feel as though I actually need to spend many more hours than I can, working my way up, when I just want some fun, a word that appears to have been deleted from your vocabulary. Perhaps I’m in the minority… Well, there’s no perhaps about it because the numbers playing have shrunk so much, but pretty soon there will be even fewer, and all there will be left to say is ‘Will the last person playing please switch off the lights.’… although it’s starting to feel as though they already have!
